Samantha's POV
There is a large crowd in front of the hotel we're staying at. A very large crowd. There are plenty of cameras and people just waiting to see Shawn. Tim gets out of the front door and starts to walk around to open our door. Which is when I start to not be able to breathe. Shawn immediately notices."Samantha, hey what's going on?" He asks me, concern evident in his tone.
"I just... don't think I've seen a crowd gather this big before..."
"Okay... look at me." I don't move, still frozen looking out the window. "Sammie, look at me." The nickname pulls me out of my trance and I turn to look at him.
"We can do this. I promise," he tells me firmly, looking directly into my eyes.
We can do this. We can do this? Shawn can do this. I can't do this. I turn around, trying to make Shawn go out by himself. Shawn wastes no time and connects our lips together, sending electricity through me, just like the first time. We pull away and he looks at me with a questioning look. I don't answer for a few seconds, and then take a deep breath.
"We can do this. Just don't leave me," I whisper the second part softly.
"Never," he tells me just as Tim opens the door. He holds out his hand to help me out, and I gladly take it. I step out and am immediately met with hundreds of flashes of cameras. I squint, my eyes hurting. I feel a wave of relief as I feel Shawn's hand pressed against the small of my back. He starts to move forward, so I do as well, considering his hand is controlling my movements. He only pauses a few times to smile. Each time telling me he was stopping.
"Deep breaths, smile and look slightly above the cameras, it helps with the flashes. You're doing amazing."Eventually, we get to the entrance of the hotel and he turns around to wave goodbye. There's a man about my age that waves at me, so I wave back. When he knows he has my attention he licks his lips creepily, and thrusts in my direction a few times. I try to look away, but a different guy does the same thing, except this time he looks me up and down and pretends to slap my butt. I barely have any time to react to the second man before Shawn's hand returns on my back and he gently pushes me through the doors.
As soon as we're safely in Shawn's room, our phones ring.
"Elizabeth."
"Sandra."
We tell each other at the same time.
"What's up Elizabeth?" I answer."Was that planned and you just didn't tell me?" Elizabeth asks without greeting me.
"The whole girlfriend/ boyfriend thing?" I know what she's talking about.
"Yes. Was it planned?"
"Not at all. I wasn't expecting it at all. But we had been talking before the interviews and he got this weird look on his face when I said something about making sure to not be close to each other when we go back outside from the dressing room." I look back at him on the phone and can see his brows crinkle together. He's speaking more hushed and I don't know why, but it worries me.
"From what I saw, you both were very sincere, so I don't think this should be a problem. We just have to make sure that it doesn't look like we're using him for your career. Make sense?"
"Uh-huh," I absentmindedly answer, too focused on Shawn. He's turned the opposite direction and is speaking intently into the phone. "I'll talk to you later," I tell Elizabeth, hanging up.
Shawn's POV
"Hello!" I happily answer."Shawn... what were you thinking?" She doesn't even greet me back.
