We destroy our enemies,
we always do.
we slay them dragons with our swords,
the epidemic with our medicines.
we kill them zombies with our guns,
those aliens with our weapons.
we defeat the injustice that lurks,
fight the monsters under our bed.
We finish anything that hurts us
We do, don't we?
But....
but what about the demons?
The ones that are inside our head,
while we kill the world for our safety,
they kill us slowly,
crawling from the mind,
slithering through our veins,
right our heart they aim.
and they win so good, don't they?
no weapons no threats,
Just a move,
and...
you're caught. dead.
