She walked the road at night,
Heartbroken, alone, feeling empty inside.
"...but you love him too!" the demon inside her spat.
"I do, but so does she."
"So? you're gonna lose your love because of her?"
"She's my best friend!" she argued.
"She doesn't deserve him. you do! only you. go! go right now. make him yours. the dreams you saw...live them now!"
"You deserve to be happy too!"
"She's had him for so long, it's time for you now."
" she's nothing. look at her! you can easily win this war!"
"Just use your body, shut your heart and mind."
Manipulated her demons.
and so she did.
Another good turned bad, another soul coloured black.
She slipped into his bedroom late at night, walked out in the morning ignoring the tears of the girl who saw her walk of shame standing by the door of her supposed lover.
They say love is pure.
but it's a dirty world.
Nothing stays pure.
when everything we desire has a cost.
