I see them running around,
laughing loudly,
not bothered with any sound.
they smile so beautiful,
their crooked teeth all visible....will I ever smile like that again?
They don't care about their clothes, they're filled with dirt and gore.
but still their faces shine brighter than gold.I don't even remember the last time when I was this careless.
they're breathless from running so much,
but they still wanna continue this hush.
kicking and stumbling around in the mud,
wrestling and poking each others guts. They're so innocent,
nothing can break them down,
In this moment,
they're happier than the whole town.
I feel at peace here. They're so tranquil.
it makes me wanna never leave.
I'll happily live here the whole eternity. They've got no weight on their shoulders,
all they ever tell are little white lies
and then I see myself
all tangled up, caged and hanging from the sky...and I wonder then,
is this what this is?...is this is what growing up is?
