Robert: Great, c u tn, sweetie.
Robert: At 8?
R: Yes. It's a date. C u soon.

I met Robert at Kingston's Stone.
"Rachael," Robert said, "You look beautiful."
"Thank you," I said, "You look handsome."
"Shall we sit, m'lady?"
"Yes, we shall, my sir."
After a few minutes of pondering what to order, I decided to have the spaghetti with meatballs with basil and Parmesan cheese. It looked divine:

"Yes, but as long as you try some of my chicken tortellini."

We both had a bit of each other's foods. They were really good.
"Thank you for everything," I said a while after we finished both of our dinners. "I really appreciate you being here."
"No problem." Robert said. "That's what I'm here for. I'm glad I didn't see you fall back into your old ways--like pushing the noodles around or cutting them in little bits."
"I'm glad I didn't do it either. I think I'm finally over this disorder. But, remember, relapse is common."
"I know, sweetheart, but I'm here every step of the way, don't worry. I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
I leaned in and kissed him.
The perfect end to a perfect evening, I thought. I'm glad I have such a great boyfriend.
He walked me to my door.
"I'm proud of you." Robert said.
"I'm proud of myself as well. Good night."
"Good night."
