A/N-Today's my birthday, so I decided to update (despite me saying I'm on hitatus, but school's nearly over!)
"Rachael, stop." I heard a voice say.
"Stop before you're hurt. Get off the ledge. Right now. NOW!" I heard a male voice screaming my name, but I couldn't picture who it was. Robert? Steven? Dad? Mom? I shouted so much that my voice was horse. I overheard a conversation between my parents:
"Daniel, no, I will not do that!" A feminine sounding voice shouted.
"Come on, Ruth." A male voice said soothing. "Everything will be okay. I'm here."
What could she possibly be afraid of? We have crosses in every room in the house. I thought.
"I wish--"
Suddenly, everything fell quiet. I heard a collapse and shrieks as well as praying to God. I wonder what happened in there, I thought. I want to go in there, but I don't want to interrupt. My mouth was agape, and, ignoring my thoughts, I rushed to the room and saw a body on the floor.
"Nothing happened, just out of the blue, she fainted," The male voice told another man who was on the phone.
"Bring to the hospital as soon as possible." The voice on the other end said.
"I will. Steven, come here. Time to go to the hospital."
"Okay, Dad," a male voice answered.
I woke up, replaying the dream in my mind. I think that was too real. I thought.
