Mariah was setting the table for dinner when Sharon came through the door
"Hey Sweetie,thanks again for dinner it was so thoughtful"she said setting her purse down
Mariah didn't acknowledge Sharon she was just staring at the plate
"Mariah, earth to Mariah"Sharon called out
Mariah jumped"What,sorry did you say something"
"Yes,but what I want to know now is what is going in your head that has you a million miles away"
"Just thinking about Tessa,she called earlier"
"Oh ya how is she"Sharon asked
"She was great until we got disconnected"
Sharon could tell something was bothering her"Oh but what is it"
"I'm worried"she said as she sat on the couch
"Well maybe she had bad reception"
"No, when she was talking to me we got interrupted and she told them to get away"
"I'm sure it's nothing and she'll call you back"she rubbed her back"Come on lets eat"she said and got up and walked to the table
Mariah sat on the couch when her phone went off.She ran over to it she was eager to answer it
"Hello Tessa"she said
"No it's Kyle, I was wondering if you can meet me at the GCAC tomorrow?"he asked
"Sure,I'll be there at 9 does that work for you"she told him
"Sure see you there"he said
She hung up and walked over to the table"It is so nice to see you have friends"Sharon said
"Its strange he gets me and he was there for me.And to think i despise him"she told her
"You never know people can surprise you"Sharon said with a smile

Tessa woke up in a cold dark room. She looked around to find Crystal"CRYSTAL"she called out there was no answer"CRYS"
"Oh don't worry, she is fine"a mans voice was heard
"I need water"she said all raspy
"Oh don't worry you'll get some after we talk Tessa"he said
"How do you know my name"she said all scared"Where is my sister"
The man walked over to her"Don't worry she is fine"he caressed her cheek she cringed"I need some answers"
"Not until you tell me where my sisters"
The man was getting frustrated"Alright FINE you listen I had people watching you and your sister.Before we took you, you were talking to someone"he said"And we did some investigating"
"You mean stalk"she spat back
He got in her face"SHUT UP"he hollered
She cringed
"As I was saying the girl you were talking to,is she someone to you"
Tessa's heart dropped
"So if I don't get what I want your friend pays the price"

Mariah was waiting for Kyle,she was staring at her phone.She just wanted to her Tessa's voice.Kyle walked in and saw her at the table and could tell something was wrong
"He walked over to her"Hey good morning"he said
She looked up from her phone and saw Kyle"Hi"
He sat down "I called you here because I wanted your help with something,but I can tell something is bothering you"
"No I'm fine.So what did you want from me"she asked
"Don't give me that crap.You were staring at your phone and your mood was off,so spill"
She gave him a look"Fine I got a call from Tessa and something happened"
"What"he asked
"She was talking and we got interrupted then the line went dead"
"Could you hear anything?" he asked
"No but all Tessa said was "Back off this is private" I know it could be nothing,but deep down i have this sick feeling something isn't right" she said

Tessa was laying on the floor.She saw Mariah's journal on the floor across from her she was wondering why they didn't take it from her.She grabbed it and started reading it
"I found this poem they other day that reminded me of Tessa
If I could give you one thing in life,I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes
Only then would you realize how special you are to me"
Tessa smiled and flipped to another page
"So I feel like a teenager coming home and writing about the best night ever."Tessa giggled"Tessa and I are official(Wow did I just write that).It was the most amazing night.Totally unexpected.But I guess the most amazing things are unexpected"Tessa started crying
She flipped to another entry
"How is it possible I love my best friend.I never felt like this about anyone before.When I;m around her I get butterflies. That's not me that's never been me but I'm liking the new and it's all because of her"Tessa smiled
There was a loud bang bringing Tessa out of Mariah's thoughts she hid the journal.The guy walked in with Crystal behind him
"TESSA"Crystal said as she ran over to her sister
Tessa held onto her for dear life"You ok"she said examining her
"Ya he didn't hurt me"Crystal said grabbing tighter to Tessa
Tessa brought Crystal behind her to protect her"What do you want from us"
"You two did a wrong and now you need to pay"he told them
