The next morning Mariah woke up in Tessa's arms. Tessa's hand was placed on Mariah's stomach. Mariah placed her hand over Tessa's ans smiled
"It wasn't a dream was it"she asked
Tessa got closer and rested her chin on Mariah's shoulder"No Mommy"she said she kissed her cheek"How are you feeling"she asked
"Amazing"she said softly"I can't believe it"
Tessa turned Mariah so she was laying on her back and leaned over her"Well believe it"she kissed her lips softly. Tessa started stroking her fingers on Mariah's stomach"I didn't think it was possible to fall even more in love with you. But after last night and waking up with you this morning knowing our baby is there"she smiled at her"It's amazing"She wrapped her arms around Mariah"I just want to stay here with you like this and keep you to myself for nine months"she laughed
Mariah played with Tessa's hair "That is so sweet but you and I both know I would go crazy"she said
"You're probably right"she looked at her "You hungry I can fix you so eggs"she kissed her"Some bacon"she kissed her again
Mariah suddenly pushed Tessa off her and ran to the bathroom and started throwing up.Tessa slowly got up and went right to Mariah's side.She started rubbing circles on her back
"It's ok, I'm right here"she told her softly
After a few minutes Mariah finally was finished she got up and went to the sink to splash cold water on her face"About feeling amazing,I take that back"
Tessa came over and kissed her forehead"Go back to bed,I'll go make you some toast"she told her
Mariah usually protests but she was to weak to fight her"Alright"
Tessa wrapped her arm around Mariah's waist and walked her back to bed.She pulled the covers over Mariah"You rest I'll go call Lola and tell you won't be coming in today"she stroked her cheek
Mariah nodded then laid down
"I love you"Tessa kissed her head"Holler if you need anything"she told her

Tessa was downstairs making Mariah some tea when her phone rang
"Hello"she answered
"Hi Tessa it's Bryan your manager I have booked you a flight for California we need you out here to put the finally touches on the album"
"I thought you were alright with me doing everything from here"she asked
"We are but we also have book a few interviews to promote the album"he told her
"Oh alright"she told him"When do you need me"she asked
"Wednesday"he told her
"Alright I'll see you Wednesday"she said and hung up
She walked back in their room and watched Mariah sleep.How could she leave her like this.She left her a note to tell her she will be back in case Mariah woke up. She then called someone
"Hi I need to see you"she said

Tessa later walked into the Athletic Club
"Hey thanks for meeting me"she said as she sat down
"It's no problem like I said on the phone I was already here"Kyle told her "So what is up"he asked
"I need to go to California for a few days and I was wondering...I hate to ask you this"she looked down
"What is it"
"Would you look after Mariah while I am gone"she asked
"Why what is wrong with.."then he looked at Tessa"Wait is she"he asked
"Yes,but no one knows we only found out last night and now I have to leave her"
He reached over for her hands"Tessa I'm here,she'll be fine"
"I hate how we keep asking you for stuff you didn't sign up for"
"I'm glad to help,don't ever feel bad alright"he told her
Tessa nodded
"Oh and congratulations"he smiled at her
"Thank you we are over the moon I can't believe she is having a baby"
"I won't say anything until you two do"

Later Tessa came in the apartment and went to check on Mariah
"Mar"she called out and when she didn't see her in the room
Tessa heard a faint"In here"come from the bathroom.Tessa walked in the bathroom ad saw Mariah curled up against the bathtub"Oh baby"she said as she went to her side"Are you alright"she cupped her face
"Ya"she said as she kissed her palm"I just decided after the tenth time I might as well stay put"she gave a small chuckle and leaned her head on Tessa's shoulder
Tessa wiped Mariah's face with a wet wash cloth "That's it I'm not going to LA"she told her
Mariah looked up"Wait what"
"My manager called he needs me in LA for a few thinks for the record.So I went to see Kyle and asked to look after you while I'm away,but after seeing you like this I can't leave you"Tessa stroked Mariah's cheek
Mariah kissed Tessa's cheek"You're so sweet but you need to go.I'll be fine,besides I'm pregnant not dying"she laughed"This is you dream Tessa"she placed her hand on her stomach"And if I have my dream now why can't you"she told her "And if I need anything while you are gone I'll call Kyle"then it hit her"Wait you told Kyle"she looked at her
"Yes, but he promises he is not going to say anything to anyone.I just didn't want to leave you alone"Tessa laced their fingers with Mariah's
"I'll be fine"she told her"Correction, we'll be fine"she placed her hand on her stomach

The next thing they knew it was Wednesday. Tessa's bags were packed ready to leave fir LA. She bent down next to Mariah's side of the bed.She started stroking Mariah's arm that was exposed
Mariah stirred awake
"I didn't want to leave without saying goodbye to you,I'm sorry i woke you up"she told her
Mariah remain laying down and smiled at her"How long will you be gone for again"
"A week at most but I can come home if you need you me to"she rested her chin on her arms just looking at Mariah
"Tess,don't worry I'll be fine"she took Tessa's hand"It's only morning sickness'she giggled
"I know but I worry about you it's my job as your wife to worry"
"Just be safe and come home to me that is all I want"Mariah told her
"Will do""And please take care of yourself and don't try and do everything yourself"she tapped her nose"Because I know you will"
"I promise"Mariah then swallowed hard and closed her eyes and took deep breathes
"You ok"Tessa asked
"I have this nauseous feeling"she said as she kept taking deep breathes to ease the feeling
Tessa took Mariah's hand and kissed it"Just relax"
It passed a few seconds later and Mariah opened her eyes"It passed go you'll miss your flight"she told her"I'm all good"she added
Tessa put her hands on Mariah's stomach and rubbed it "Hey little one this is your Mama speaking"she started saying causing Mariah to giggle"I need you to be nice to Mommy for me while I'm gone. We love you so much already so don't cause her to much trouble for us"she said as she kissed her stomach
"I love you"Mariah said running her fingers through Tessa's hair
"I love you too"she leaned up and kissed her lips
