Mariah and Tessa arrived home on cloud nine.Their arms wrapped around each other
"We are engaged"Mariah said all giddy and staring at the ring
"Are you happy"Tessa asked
"Of course I never thought this would happen to me"Mariah told her
"Well it did"Tessa said kissing her hand
They walked into Crimson Lights holding hands and giggling. Mariah stopped and peered in "Oh crap"Mariah said and backed away"Mom bis here"she said in a panic
Tessa laughed at how Mariah was scared "Well she should be,she owns this place"
"No,I mean she is going to take one look at us and know"she started pacing "No,nope not going in"she beginning ranting
Tessa grabbed her arm and stopped her"Mariah calm down"
"How do you expect me to do that"she said
Tessa kissed her then pulled away"Did that help"

"Would it help ease your mind knowing Sharon already knows"

"Ya I asked her right after you got out of the hospital.She gave me her blessing"Tessa said as she stroked her thumb over Mariah's ring"She even helped me pick out the perfect ring for you"she smiled at her
Tessa kissed Mariah's cheek"Now can go in"she said softly
Mariah smile and nodded
They walked in holding hands when Sharon saw them
"Oh please tell me with those big smiles you said yes"she said coming to them
Mariah just held up her hand "What do you think"she said with a huge smile
Sharon jumped up and down"Oh my"she said all excited
"Mom calm down people are staring"Mariah said all embarrassed
Sharon stopped and looked around"Right sorry guys,my daughter just got engaged carry on"she told the customers then she hugged Mariah and Tessa"Am so happy for you two"she told them
Mariah crossed her arms"You knew Tessa was going to ask me to marry me and you didn't think tell me"
"And ruin that beautiful moment Tessa had planned for you,not a chance"she smiled at her
They laughed,Mariah looked at Tessa and smiled
"and Tessa"Sharon said looking over at Tessa"I want to thank you for making my daughter so happy"
Tessa smiled at Mariah "She makes me happy too'
"So I guess the next step is to plan a wedding"Sharon clapped her hands
"Mom, nothing fancy alright I'm not that kind of girl"she told her
"Don't worry I know Sweetie"she smiled at her "I have ideas for you two"she pointed at them
"I'm sorry in advance"Mariah turn to Tessa
"It's ok Mariah no matter how we get married it will be perfect because I'm marrying you"Tessa kissed Mariah
"Aw that is so sweet"Sharon said
