Its been a few weeks since Mariah and Tessa moved in.They quickly got into a routine and they loved coming home to each other.With the holidays fast approaching Mariah has been working late
"So what time do you think you will be home"Tessa asked Mariah as she got ready
"Hopefully not late again"
"Good because I miss holding you as I fall asleep"she said as she wrapped her arms around Mariah
Mariah pulled out of her arms and kissed her goodbye
Tessa hated that she never really saw Mariah anymore.Since the show has been a hugged success since Lola joined it.She saw how Mariah was around her and it felt like Mariah was pulling away for her

Mariah walked into the studio Lola was already sitting at the table waiting for Mariah
"Morning"Mariah said
"Morning Girl"Lola smiled at her
"So did you go over my ideas for the Thanksgiving show I sent to you?'Mariah asked
"Yes, I loved it and to honor Hilary like this it's so beautiful"Lola told her
"Ya"she gave her a small smile"I mean she did start this whole thing"she got really sad
Lola looked over at her "Hey are you ok"she rubbed her shoulder
"Yes"Mariah gave a small nod"It hit me that this is the first holiday without her"Mariah said as tears fell down her face
Lola wiped Mariah's tears away with her thumb"It can't be easy for you"
Mariah shook her head"This was her baby she loved this show.It's not fair she isn't here anymore"
Lola wrapped her arms around Mariah and let her cry
After a few minutes later they pulled away and looked at each other
"I'm sorry "Mariah apologized"This isn't like me"
"Don't apologize,I'm sorry you are going through this"
"I'm usually good at keeping my emotions together"Mariah told her
Lola tucked a piece of Mariah's hair behind her ear"You shouldn't have to hold everything in it's ok to show your feelings"Lola smiled at her
All of a sudden the heard a crash and looked at the door
"Tessa"Mariah stood up"This isn't what it looks like"she tried to tell her
"Oh really cause it kind of looks like you two are having a moment.Sharing your feelings because according to you, you hide everything in"
"Tessa"
"Is this why I never see you anymore because you are with her all the time"
"No"she walked over to her"You got it all wrong what you saw was the end of a breakdown I just had"
"Don't give some sob story and lie to me because I won't believe you"she told her and ran out of the studio
Mariah looked over at Lola
"Go after her,I'll finish up here"Lola told her
Mariah grabbed her purse and keys and went and walked over to the picture of her and Mariah from Halloween.She was staring at it when Mariah walked in
"Was our love not good enough for you"Tessa said looking over at her
"Tessa let me explain what you saw it's nothing and in your mind you got it all wrong"
"Try me"she told her
"Come sit with me please"Mariah asked
Tessa crossed her arms and remained where she was
"What you saw was a friend comforting another friend.We were talking about the Thanksgiving show and I had a breakdown about Hilary and my emotions just came over me"
"We usually have those moments. You always tell me how your feeling.But lately it's like your holding it in and pulling away"
"I din't know I was holding this in until we started planning the show. You're right I never hold back from you"
"I came by today to surprise you with lunch and I saw it in your eyes, you have feelings for Lola"
Mariah went to say something
"Don't lie to me Mariah I saw it today and everyday on the show"
"Come on Tessa you are being ridiculous I don't have feelings for Lola.How do I get threw to you"she ran her hands through her hair"You don't see me getting jealous over your fans that love you"
"No because the difference is I don't have feelings for any of my fans"Tessa screamed at her
"I can't keep going in circles with you. Come find me when you stop listening to your head and start listening to your heart"
"Where you going,running to your girlfriend"Tessa yelled
Mariah looked back at Tessa"How dare you.In case you care I'll be at my Mom's"She said as she slammed the door
Tessa through the picture on the ground and screamed

Mariah walked in and saw her Mom on the couch. Sharon took one look at her and knew something was wrong
"Oh Sweetheart"
"Mom"Mariah said as she cried as she ran into her mother's arms
A little later Sharon came in from the kitchen and handed Mariah tea"Here you go"
"How could she even think I had feelings for Lola.After everything we did to get to this point why would I throw it away"
"I don't know Honey"she said as she rubbed her back"Maybe its like you said maybe Tessa is listen to her head and not with her heart"
Mariah nodded "I'm crazy about Tessa"she told her mother
"I know you are and I think deep down Tessa knows that"she kissed Mariah head" Why don't you stay the night.Let you both cool off and go home tomorrow"
"Sure,but first I think I need some air,I'll be back"she told Sharon then left

Tessa hadn't stopped crying since Mariah left>She called Mariah but it went straight to voicemail
"Baby it's me, I know I was a jerk to you>It finally sunk in and I want you to come home so we can talk about this.I'm so sorry Mariah I love you"
Mariah was driving and listening to Tessa's voicemail and crying
"It was a stupid fight Baby,your right I wasn't listening with my heart but I am now"
Mariah didn't hear the end of the message because everything went black
It was the middle of the night when Tessa's phone went off
"Hello"Tessa answered all groggy
"Is this Tessa Porter"a woman's voice was heard
"Yes, who is this"she asked
"My name is Nancy at Memorial I'm calling on behalf of Mariah Copeland"
"She is my girlfriend,what happened"Tessa shot up in bed all worried
"Miss Copeland was in a car accident this evening"she told her
Tessa started crying"I'll be right there"she said and hung up
