They have been home from the hospital for a few weeks now. Mariah and Tessa were trying to get a routine with Cadence and Cassie. Tessa finally got Cadence to sleep while Mariah was trying to feed Cassie.Tessa came over and sat next to Mariah
"Well Cadence is fast asleep"she looked over at Cassie "If only we could get Cassie on the same schedule as her sister"she said smiling at Mariah
Mariah giggled"Me too, but at the same time I like this one on one time with them"she pressed her nose to Cassie's nose
Tessa wrapped her arm around Mariah"Me too"
Mariah was getting frustrated that Cassie wouldn't eat"She wont latch on,when I feed Cadence she never wants to let go"
"Do you have any breast milk in the freezer"Tessa asked
Mariah nodded
"Be right back"she patted Mariah's and went to the kitchen
Mariah moved Cassie and laid her on her lap"Why won't you eat for Mommy huh"she asked her
A few minutes later Tessa came back with a bottle"Here try it this way"she handed Mariah the bottle
"Thanks"Mariah said softly she looked at Cassie"Here Cass look what your Mama got you"she told her
They watched as Cassie slowly started to eat"Thank God"Mariah sighed
"I guess she prefers it this way"Tessa said
"Ya I guess so"Mariah looked at Cassie
Later Mariah put a sleeping Cassie in her crib she check on Cadence who was still sleeping. She went out to the living room where Tessa was strumming her guitar
"Both girls asleep now"Tessa asked
"Yes"Mariah took a deep breath and plopped down on the couch next to Tessa
Tessa put her guitar down and placed Mariah's legs on her lap"Your Mom texted me she is stopping by soon with food for us"
"Alright"she yawned
A few minutes later there was a knock on the door
"I'll get it"Tessa said as she got up to answer the door
Mariah sat up and looked at the door
"Hello Sharon hey Crystal"Tessa smiled as she hugged them both
"Hey, we didn't wake them did we "Sharon asked
Mariah shook her head"Nah they are out like a light ...for now"she told them
Sharon smiled and sat next to her daughter
"Hey Crystal"Mariah smiled at her
"Hey,how are two adjusting to the girls"Crystal asked
"We are hanging in there"Mariah said
"I brought you two lasagnas,since it's your favorite"Sharon told her
"Thank you"Tessa said
A cry was heard through the baby monitor
"Duty calls,I'll be right back"Mariah said
"Can I come"Sharon asked
Mariah smiled"Sure"
