Everything was happening so fast in Mariah's eyes.She looked around and so the nurses prepping the station Cassie would go when they delivered her.She tried to stay calm but she was freaking out her baby was in trouble and she couldn't help
"Tessa"she said freaking out
Tessa came up by her "I'm here"she said stroking her head"Everything is going to be okay"she whispered
Mariah took a deep breath and nodded
Even though Mariah couldn't feel any pain she could feel the pressure from the doctors working. She closed her eyes and swallowed hard
"Please let her be okay"she said quietly
Tessa kissed her head
"You two ready to meet your second daughter"the doctor said
They both nodded
"Ready"Mariah said
The next thing they both heard was a cry.Both Mariah and Tessa had tears streaming down their face and big smiles
"Music to my ears"Tessa said softly as she stared at her daughter
The nurses were cleaning the baby off and giving her oxygen
"Is she okay is she breathing alright"Mariah asked
"They are checking her just try and relax"the doctor said
"How do I relax when my daughter is not in my arms"she cried
Tessa kept giving her kisses"It's okay she is strong like her Mommy"she told her
The nurse brought the baby over to them
"Would you like to meet your daughter"she asked them
"Is she okay"Tessa asked
"Yes, she is just fine"she told her as she placed the baby in Tessa's arms"Congratulations"she said to them
Tessa turned towards Mariah"She is finally here"
Mariah brought her hand over to her daughter and gently stroked her head"I love you"she whispered and cried
Tessa looked on this beautiful moment Mariah bonding with her baby and she felt so much love for her
Mariah looked at Tessa"I love you"
"I love you too,I love you so much"she said as she kept kissing her
Tessa looked down at Cassie"You gave us quite a scare there. I guess you're going to be the trouble one"she said with a little laugh
A little while later Mariah was back in the room with both of her daughters.Tessa laying next to Mariah holding Cassie and Mariah holding Cadence
"I can't believe how much I already love them"Mariah said smiling at Cadence
"Me too"Tessa kissed Mariah's cheek"So now are we set on the names this is Cassie and that is Cadence"she said
Mariah glanced at both the girls"Yes"she smiled
"Can I ask, how did you come up with the name Cadence"
"Mariah smiled "When you suggested Cassie to honor my sister.I wanted to name our other daughter something I could honor you. And I wanted to incorporate music into the name and everything I found was so corny.Then the other day I came across Cadence,it means rhythm,beat.I know this is going to sound nuts to you but every time you sang they would kick like they were singing a long with their Mama.And in my heart I felt like she"she said smiling down at Cadence"She was the one who kicked the most"
