Mariah and Tessa walked into the apartment carrying bags. Tessa set them on the couch
"Mariah, Honey you have gone a little over board with the baby things"she told her
"I'm sorry ok,but since we found out we are having twins I'm just so excited"she said picking up one of the outfits she bought and stared at it
Tessa looked at her"Mariah where did you go just now you were so excited and now I'm concerned"
"How did I not know "she said in a soft tone
Tessa took her hand "Know what Mariah"
"That I'm carrying twins,how did the doctors miss that"she asked
"The nurse who gave me the envelope told me each time we went one of the girls was hiding behind the other"She told her
"This is crazy,we are having twins"she smiled really big
Tessa giggled how many times are you going to say that"
"I don't know"she laughed
Mariah kissed Tessa"I'm going to go put these things away"she told her and went to the other room
Tessa was making them something to eat when she heard Mariah start crying
"Mariah"she called out .She headed towards the bedroom"Babe ,you alright"she asked
Tessa entered the room and saw Mariah just standing there crying in the middle of the room"Mar, what is wrong"
"Where are we going to put them.It's too tight. It was bad enough trying to find a place to put one baby but we have a challenge we need space for two"
Tessa came up to her "Oh honey,it's gonna be ok"she was rubbing her back"We will find another place a bigger one,hell we'll buy a freaking mansion"
Mariah laughed
"I'm sorry"Mariah said wiping her tears away
"You don't need to apologize"she kissed her cheek"Do you wanna help me make dinner"she asked
Mariah slowly nodded
Tessa took her hand"Come on"
Later they were curled up on the couch.Tessa was holding Mariah stroking her arm listening to her breathe
"Tessa"she said quietly
"Yes"Tessa looked down at her
"I hope we stay this in love when we have the girls,and we don't lose what we have"
"Oh we won't our daughters will be so embarrassed to be around us"
"But they will love it"Mariah smiled
"That is right"Tessa kissed her head
Just then Tessa's phone rang she reached over still holding Mariah
"Hello"she answered"Yes, sure I'll pack tonight and be on the plane first thing in the morning"Tessa said and hung up
Mariah pulled out of Tessa's embrace"You're leaving"she said all sad
Tessa put her fingers on her chin a turned her head to look at her"He y,hey ,hey. Don't be sad I should be only gone for a few days"she kissed her lips softly
"I know I just wish I could go with you"Mariah said placing her hand over Tessa's
"Do you wanna help me pack"Tessa said
Mariah shook her head"No,I only like helping you unpack"she said seductively
"Really because I like it when you help me unpack too"Tessa leaned over and kissed Mariah
