It was the day Tessa was leaving for her tour she was excited to perform again and to travel but she was nervous about leaving Mariah. It has only been a few weeks since she started therapy,she seemed to be coming around. Tessa could see improvements in her behavior with the girls who were four months now. They were just taking in day by day. Cadence and Cassie were starting to show their personalities,Cadence was always so energetic but she always needed someone holding her and giving her attention while Cassie was chill but she always needed her lovey to go to sleep.
Tessa was in her bedroom finishing up packing when Mariah came in putting the laundry away
"You almost ready to go"she said as she put the clothes away
"Yes, almost"she came up behind Mariah and wrapped her arms around her waist
Mariah looked down at Tessa's hands
"Are the girls asleep"she asked swaying them back and forth
"Ya they just went down"she then gasped "Oh no did you want the awake so you could say goodbye"she said in a panic
Tessa laughed a little "It's fine,I'm not leaving for a few more hours they should be up by then"she told her
Mariah nodded
"I do have an idea to pass the time though"Tessa said gripping tighter to Mariah"Do you wanna do what we always did before I would leave for a trip"Tessa said starting to kiss Mariah's neck"You giving Me"she said kissing the other side of her neck"My going away present"she went to kiss her again but Mariah puled out of Tessa's grip and walked over and sat on the bed
"I'm sorry,I just can't right now"she said looking down
Tessa was disappointed "No it's okay, I understand"she kissed the top of Mariah's head and finished packing
Mariah looked at Tessa and she could see she had hurt Tessa"I'm sorry"
"Don't worry about it"she graced at her and gave her a smile
Just then Mariah of something"Um when do you need to head out"she asked
"In a couple hours,why"Tessa was curious
"I need you to stay with the girls I need to go somewhere"she said
"Ya of course, are you okay"she asked
"Ya, don't worry I won't be long"she said then left

Mariah walked into her counselors office
"Mariah,did we have a session I forgot about"she said looking up from her computer
"No,but I needed to talk to you,if you have some time Dr. Fields"
"Yes come sit"she told her she came over and sat across from Mariah"So what is going on, you seem agitated
Mariah started playing with her hands"Tessa is leaving today for her tour and.."she stopped
"You feel like your not ready to be by yourself with the girls"
"No that's not it, earlier Tessa wanted to intimate which we haven't been since before the girls. And I can't seem to left myself get close to her again like that"
"I see,Mariah what is stopping you from being close to Tessa. Do you love her"
"Of course I do"she said"My heart wants to be close with her but I'm afraid"
"Of what"she asked
"She hasn't seen me like really seen me since the girls were born and I feel like if she takes on look at me she will fall out of love with me"
