Mariah walked in the house holding Tessa by the waist.Crystal,Noah and Kyle behind them
"We are home"she told them
"Do you girls want something to eat"Noah asked
"Not right now"Crystal said
"How bout you Tess"Mariah asked pulling a few strands away from Tessa's face
Tessa shook her head
"I still wish you would have let us take you to the hospital"Kyle said
"No we are fine"Tessa told them
"What happen to those men?"Crystal asked
"They were trapped in that fire.There was no hope for them"Kyle told them
"I still don't know how you guys escaped"Mariah said
"It doesn't matter anymore.Can I take a shower?"Crystal asked
"Of course go on up"Mariah told her
Crystal headed on up while Tessa sat on the couch
"I'll leave you all alone.Call me if you need anything"Kyle told them he walked over and kissed Mariah on the cheek then left
"I'll be in the kitchen making soup for all of us"Noah said
Mariah smiled and sat next to Tessa
"So do you want to talk about it or"
"Can you just hold me"Tessa asked
"That I can do "she held out her arms
Tessa lean into Mariah and held her tight"I was so scared I wasn't going to see you again"
"Me too"Mariah whispered she kissed her head "But I never gave up"
Just then Sharon came in the house,causing Tessa to shot up in panic
"Its ok"Mariah reassured Tessa
"Mariah where have you and Noah been"she said sounding really upset
"Sharon not now"Mariah told her turning her attention back on Tessa
Sharon looked over and saw Tessa"Oh Tessa are you ok"
"I don't want to talk about it"Tessa looked down
"Sharon, she has been through somethings"she said rubbing thumb on Tessa's hand
Noah came in with a tray of soup and saw his Mom"Mom don't ask any questions at least not tonight"he told her
Before Sharon could respond Crystal came down the stairs.Sharon was in shock"WHAT"
"Hi Sharon"Crystal said in a quiet voice
Sharon walked over to her"It is so good to see you again"she said and wrapped her in a hug
"You too"she said still in the hug
Sharon pulled away "But how are you here I don't understand"
Tessa went over to Crystal"There is something we need to tell you"
"Ok"Sharon nodded
"You know I left,but what you don't know is I left to help Crystal.And while we were almost safe. We were kidnapped"
"Oh my God, how did you escape"
"We went to rescue them"Mariah told her mother
"What are you two crazy you could have been killed"
Noah step in"Mom you should have seen her she was a mess.So with Kyle's help we went to rescue them"
"Crystal called me and then we were able to find them."Mariah told her she walked over next to Tessa
"What I don't understand is why didn't you just go to the police with this or at least come to me i have helped before"
"The police were after Crystal and we were afraid of what would happen to her.Plus you're not really fond of Tessa"
"Look I know Tessa isn't my favorite person but I would have put aside my feelings to help because I know how you feel about her"Sharon smiled
"It doesn't matter now"Mariah said grabbing Tessa's hand
"It's been along night I think I'm going to call it a night"Crystal said knowing Mariah and Tessa needed sometime alone
"Sure come on I 'll fix the guest room up for you"Sharon said
Tessa looked over "Night"
Crystal smiled and followed Sharon
Mariah held her hand and walked over to the couch "Do you want some tea"she asked her
"No thank you""Can we just go to bed"
"Sure"she lead her to the bedroom
Tessa sat on the bed"Aren't you going to lay with me"
"No I need to get some work done for the show"Mariah kissed Tessa's cheek "Sleep well"
Mariah was sitting at her desk trying to work but all she kept doing was looking at Tessa sleep. Mariah got up and sat next to her.She was caressing her cheek
Tessa stirred awake"No"
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to wake you I just missed you"
Tessa grabbed Mariah's hand"You ok"she asked
Mariah looked away
Tessa was concerned"What is it"
"When you were away, I missed like crazy.Then when I thought I would never see you again"she started crying"My heart sank"her voice broke"Because you are so important to me"
Tessa pulled her into a hug she was holding her tight"You and me both, you are what got me though it all"
"Really"Mariah pulled away and looked at Tessa
"Ya"she said stroking her hair"I read your journal at least every night""And it was like you were with me"
Mariah lean in and kissed her lips softly"I am with you now"
Tessa laid down pulling Mariah on top of her to continued the kiss
After a while Mariah pulled away "Come on let's try and get some sleep"Mariah said
They laid in bed Mariah's arm wrapped around Tessa as the both slept
During the night Tessa was tossing in turning
"Please I'll do anything"Tessa pleaded
"No please don't"she screamed
Mariah sat up and saw Tessa in distress"Tessa wake up it is only a nightmare"she told her trying to get her to wake up
"Get off me"Tessa said
"Tessa you're safe come on"Mariah was crying seeing her girlfriend like this
"NOOO"Tessa sat up in a panic
"It's ok Tessa,it was only a nightmare"she told her as she held her and rubbed her back
Tessa pulled away from her
Mariah was taken back
"I think I'm going to go get some water"Tessa told her
Mariah nodded
Tessa got out of bed and went to the bathroom.Leaving Mariah heartbroken
Tessa turned on the faucet and splashed cold water on her face
"Your're ok"she told herself
She then proceeded lifted up her shirt revealing burn marks.Tears came down her face
"It wasn't a nightmare,It was real"
