(Kathrine's P.O.V.)

Boom. There goes Percy- into nowhere. That was so confusing. Right now, I'm in a trance. Well, not just right now- since the monster's spawned, I became dumbfounded and I felt like I was floating. I was like on auto-pilot or something like that. I didn't feel like I was in me, if made any sense. Percy randomly appearing actually, for some reason, didn't even surprise me. My brain wasn't in my head. I didn't feel like I had a choice. I felt like everything was just playing for me, like I'm not choosing on what to do- like something was moving me and that was not me. Percy speaking, things happening, monster spawning- they all felt like a film that played in first-person. I'm supposed to be shook or pissed, right?

"What the heck?!" Astrid screamed, throwing her arms up in fritz. "That Jackson." (Even though he's not a Jackson.)
"Huh." I calmly replied, taking a seat on the couch.
"Unsurprised? I guess so..." Astrid waved off my off attitude off. (off). She joined me on the couch. "How the hell did he even know I'm an Aquarian?"
"I don't know." I shook my head. "Let's stop this detective stupidity now."
"That's some mood-swing." Astrid muttered. "I swear, a moment ago you were all: 'OOooHh, detectives? aWEsOme!' I thought your puberty was over."
"Whatever. We already know who the culprit is, there's no use." I explained, standing back off the couch.
"Something on your mind?" Astrid asked, a bit of worry in her voice.
"Nothing." I lied. "I'll go practice some spells. We'll see have to pay rent too. I'll go later."
"Kathrine?" Astrid sensed something wrong. "Mr. Baka-Tako-Percy pissing you off?"
"No." I answered, rushing off to my room to pick up my staff. Just as a moment ago, everything seemed so surreal, as if I was watching a film. This isn't right...no. I bursted through my brand new room's door and shut it close. Inside, Misa was on my bed, having a little nap. 'She looked adorable, curled up in a black fur-ball of doom, making me want to pick it up and squish it in my hands (resulting in one horrible, horrible death).' is what I would've thought. But I didn't feel that way. I thought it was something on my bed. Some creature that looks neither cute nor deadly.

"What's happening to me..." I groaned, picking up my staff. Misa lifted up her head, meowing. "Hi Misa."
"Meow!" It purred, jumping on me. I gave a fake smile it can never understand. "Meow?"
"It's nothing," I waved goodbye to the confused kitten and opened up my door. Outside was Oreo, tilting his head at me in confusion.
"Woof?" It barked. I hissed. Oh Astrid- why the heck did you send this monster to me.
"Quicker than a cheetah, than the sound of light. Quicker than a human eye can see. Lightning Flash." I muttered. One of my very first spells. Having mastered it, it immediately took effect, little sparks of lightning emitting from me. I ran/teleported to the door, pushing it open, and rushing past.
"Kathrine!" I heard Astrid's muffled scream as I rushed away to my usual practice area. Past the crowds of people, I zoomed to the open field. I never wanted to practice so upon reaching there, I just sat down and closed my eyes.

~???~

"Kathrine!" I was awaken by a loud shout to my ear. The afternoon (I guessed) sun blinded my eyes. All I saw was an unrecognizable figure.
"Gah! Who the hec-" I begun but then the person tugged my away, towards the main road. It was Astrid, who was completely flustered. "Astrid?"
"Yep." She weaved through the crowds of people.
"What's happening?" I asked. Just as always, I was dumbfounded.
"Huge problem to the point you would even stop your anime binge-watching period." She explained.
"How can such a huge problem even physically or mentally exist..." I thought out loud.
"Not a time for me annoyingly answer the rhetorical question." She ran even faster as we approached a huge crowd of people. The mismatch of iron armor and colorful robes hurt my eyes. The smell of food was replaced by burning from the unwatched stalls, the merchants completely missing, the food burning on the stove.

"What?" I looked at Astrid. She heavily inhaled.
"Wemaybeunderattackedbytheroyaldefense." Astrid hastily explained.
"What?" I repeated, even louder this time.
"We may be under attack by the Royal Defenses." She said, slightly slower.
"You mean, Rογαl Dεfεηsεs." I corrected. She glared.
"Not a time for jokes- this is serious." She pointed past the crowd. Over there stood a huge guard. He wore what seemed to be platinum armor that looked like those traditional knight's armor and a dark-blue cape with gold lining. He had a (what seemed to be) steel sword and stood straight and tall.
"Oh..." I stared at the huge knight. Scary.
"ηοτhiпg ъυτ ραιη." It said. "ραιη."
"What do you want?" Some guy from the huge crowd shouted.
"ραιη." The huge 'knight' repeated.
"It's Lance- the right hand of the captain, Erthur." Astrid whispered.
"Шhо dαяе υττεя тhу Кιηg's ηαмε?!" 'Lance' rumbled. Everyone stayed silent. He roared.
"You want pain?" Some dude asked again.
"Уεs; ραιη!" Lance screamed.
"Then we'll give you pain!" The same guy continued. "Attack!"
