(Astrid's P.O.V.)

Color me shocked. Now, I've got proof that Kathrine's got nerves of steel along with that fiery persona of hers. She didn't even have the slightest trauma about whatever just happened. That 'possesion' (spelling error intended) session hosted by the devil and all. At least now, we've got some peace. Or at least I hope...

There was just this eerie mood that creeped me out. I don't know, it just didn't feel right. Despite (when did I say stuff like this???) this though, I kept playing with Kathrine.

"Abandon forces! Oreo! Direct attack! *whisper* Or an ambush if possible. Wait- do you even know what an ambush is fuzzy Oreo?" It was fun. Not malicious, just mischievous. Except, some part of me wanted to cower in fear. Something kept me on high alert. However, my luck and guessing skills aren't really the best, so...Imma just chill and pretend I think absolutely nothing is wrong! (cue innocent smile)

"*yawn* I'm sleepy. Bored." I complained. "Enough with those repeated complaints. You're always bored. Well, sort of at least." Kathrine yawned too. "You're sleepy too y'know," I retorted. "Nope, just very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, and a million more of that bored." she corrected. "Bleh, bleh, yeah, yeah. Nyawaniwanyowa. Yepeyeperoo." My weird boredom syndrome was kickin' in. "What the heck." Kathrine deadpanned.

I don't know what happened, but I was drifting off into a lovely peaceful slumber, slowly losing my consciousness (and sanity) 1000 bits at a time.

/a bunch of weirdo stuff all purple and dark were attempting to haunt me/

White stuff floated around me, bequeathing my personal domain. I gave off a what-the-heck face at whatever I was seeing, blinked a few times to make sure I wasn't dreaming and died inside a bit because of this premonition thing. Damn, triple rhyme! Okay, moving on; WHAT THE HELL!? The immaculately white nonsense continued to flee as though sucked into a vacuum by a vacuum. A void of nothingness surrounded me.

A dream, maybe? A hallucination? I thought wishfully. A bunch of terrifying visions crossed my mind. Dark, evil-looking purple mist. Wisps of  smoke rose and went off to elsewhere. Unbeknownst to me, my feet stood atop wind alone, very much prone to falling. All seemed like a matter of risk. Survival.

Words of a foreign language were embedded into the void. They gleamed with a suspicious glint and sent chills down my spine. Shrouded in darkness, everything seemed to rotate and build a distance from me.

I was sucked back into reality. My heart pounding in my chest threatened to burst and explode as I opened my eyes in a cold sweat. I heaved a shaky breath. Turning my head, I saw Kathrine lazily draped across the couch lightly snoring in her nap. Die. Suffer. Die. Die. Die. Leave. Suffer. Creepy voices resonated in my ears. I constantly shook my head to rid all those horrifyingly petrifying thoughts and contemplations. Breathing in and out, in and out, I surprisingly succeeded in achieving an uninterrupted slumber.

"Ayy Astrid, wake up." Kathrine nudged me. "Huh?" I dumbfounded-ly ehh-ed her. "Let's see: you slept 2 hours more than me. Sure, absolutely nothing is weird, huh?" she sarcastically said. I took a glance at my watch, and with a smug smile plastered on my face, I said "Well, if you ask me, what's more abnormal is the fact that we actually slept at a time before 12 am." Kathrine gave a 'touché' look. "True,"

I caught a whiff of coffee- good coffee. Real good coffee. "Hold it- do we have ice cream!? Cappuccino!!!" I marveled at the thought of caffeine-flavored ice cream. "You got it!" Kathrine said gleefully. I sprinted to the fridge and grabbed a huge scoop of ice cream to plop into a huge bowl. "Wow Astwid. You gonna wind up with a brain freeze..." Kathrine warned. I heard her alright, yet I continued savoring the enchanting food. I was all ecstatic until a sharp pain struck me on the head.
