(Kathrine's P.OV.)

1 team. 1 enemy. 1 spell. 10 gazillion questions. I smirked at my genius-ness. We all had a long, silent, smug-feeling moment- except for Clair; she was sorta left in the dark by us. Whoops.

"Nightmare's Dream? What does it do? What?" Clair looked like she was questioning her existence. Can't blame her; it's like that moment there's some sort of thing everybody was talking about something but you have never even heard of it or when there's some joke others say that you don't get. You'd feel left out. (*cough, cough* My whole school life. *cough, cough*)
"It's a spell Kathrine learned that causes another person to feel excruciating pain." Astrid paused as Clair gave her a 'that-doesn't-help' look. "Of course, there's no physical pain. You just feel it. Probably plays with the brain."
"So it's we wouldn't to kill him. We wouldn't even injure him." I included.
"Oh..." Clair nodded. "That's actually pretty smart."
"Of course it is! It was my idea." I joked.
"Well, we probably should still have a plan." Astrid thought. "How are we going to act?"
"We gotta act above him" Percy spoke up. "We play the temporary role of villain in his eyes."
"True- we can't let him think we're even slightly tired, afraid, or weak." Astrid added. "He has to think we could do anything to him. Then he'll spout everything out."
"Okay." Clair and I agreed in unison.
"If our lil' technique doesn't work and he refuses to speak, let me do my plan." Percy requested.
"I doubt our plan would fail." Astrid scoffed.
"We should all surround him though just in case- Jackson should be the main focus." I said.
"True- Jackson would play a great villain role, cover up if we make a mistake." Clair thought.
"I'm Percy. Percy Percy Percy." He spat.
"Bla bla bla, lalala." I ignored. I looked at the unconscious man. He'd be wide awake very soon. Wakey-wakey to the world's best (and worst) alarm clock; pain!
"Great, so we can begi-. What now?" Astrid asked in an irritated voice. Percy raised his palm to her face.
"How much mana do she have? We wouldn't want her collapsing in after casting it once." Percy asked.

I checked out my mana bar. It was at 512 mana - I would only last 1 cast before being too tired to function. "I could only do 1 cast before being outta mana..."
"Seriously...what'll we do? Wait?" Astrid groaned. She was definitely eager- the thought of being able to ask so many questions definitely got her hyped up.
"I know! I'll cast a mana refill spell on you." Clair winked. "I don't know this what your spell thing does but I don't need mana anyways. Right, team?"
I grinned at Clair, thankful for her help. I did a thumbs up. "Then I'll get started."
"Yeah!" Astrid cheered.

I looked I dove into my memory. Percy said I could remember each spell with a glance once before- he said that's how I cast 'Darkeness' Game' for the first time. And it was true; it felt so long since I've done Nightmare's Dream, yet it suddenly came rushing to me. Unfortunately, the voices also came along with it. Embracing those voices, I took a deep breath...the words took their place in some sort of paper in my brain, like lyrics ready to be sung. The actions practically came in as a program- not a second thought to be given to it. I couldn't believe I still remembered this spell from so long ago. I've already learned so many more spells, some that I've even forgotten, but this long spell that I've actually only really done once was ingrained into my memory. The voices overflowed me, telling me to get out of this hellhole. Telling me to get out of this illusion of life. And we'll, I'm doing that already. It was easy to accept them and embrace them. I looked at Astrid's and Clair's anticipating faces, ignoring Percy's bored and impatient one. I took a deep, deep breath...

"The demons that feast upon our poor souls, had only one true goal. To cast upon the world a nightmare's dream, the only dream that'll make havoc and screams. It would be hell, a misery, a chore to breath; the wrath of the demons, a sign of their greed. But this could be used for other means, because everything got their red and greens. Control this power, this nightmare, this dream; destroy your opponent's whenever you deem. Call upon the devil's power, and show them that you shall not falter. Nightmare's Dream!"
