"She's still sleeping Mom. Sabi ni Doc sobrang stressed si Olivia." He sighed.

Kausap niya ang kanyang ina sa telepono na ngayon ay nag-aalala sa dalaga. Alam na nito ang nakaraan ng dalawa.

"I don't know what to feel son. Gusto kong magalit sayo for hurting her. But I am more hurt because all these years hindi ko alam na sinaktan mo siya at wala man lang akong nagawa para sa kanya." Nasa boses nito ang sobrang lungkot.

"I am sorry Mom."

"And to think na all these years nagtatrabaho siya sa pamilya natin and I did not hear any complain from her. And worst, I asked her to prepare for my Will kahit na alam niya na magkikita kayo dahil doon. I feel so horrible, Theodore, I could beat you right now." Medyo tumaas na ang boses nito.

"Mom, I will explain everything to you but for now I have to take care of her."

"You should!" Giit nito. "We will talk soon. You have a lot of things to explain."

"I know Mom and I will. Take care."

"You too."

Huminga siya ng malalim pagtapos ng tawag. He called his Mom earlier and asked her to call Dr. Santillan to come over. He couldn't think straight when she collapsed. Sa buong buhay niya ito ang pangalawang beses na sobrang natakot siya.

He sighed and looked at the beautiful human being sleeping peacefully beside him. "Hi. Please rest well so we could talk when you wake up." Sabi niya at hinalikan sa pisngi ang babae.

Dr. Santillan had to put an IV because she's too weak. Napag-alaman din nila na ilang araw na itong hindi masyadong kumakain dahil sa dami ng mga kaso nito na halos lahat ay pro bono.

"This is the first time I saw you looked so fragile, Theo." Dr. Carlos Miguel Santillan emerged from the door and spoke. He is his longtime friend and they both went to the same University. Umuwi lang ito sa Pilipinas to finally make use of his degree years ago. Unlike Theo, Carlos is very passionate in his chosen profession but did not get to practice it after they graduated when he took over their family business.

He chose to help his family in their construction firm after her father got sick 5 years ago. Nag-decide lang itong maging full-time doctor nang gumaling na ang kanyang ama. He is responsible, di katulad niya.

"Idiot." He teased pero umabot ang ngiti niya sa kanyang mga mata.

"I'm a Doctor." Pagmamayabang nito.

"Of course you are. Thanks for coming." Tiningnan niya muli si Olivia and sighed.
