AN Hi everyone. Thanks to those who have stuck with me. It means a lot, hopefully you enjoy it. Reminder don't forget to write comments and feedback so I know your perspective ;) Also I'm not sure if you think so but if the stories progressing a little slow for you pretty please speak up so I know ;)

Around 6am I decided to give up. I wasn't going back to sleep anytime soon. From my room I could now hear my mom scrambling in the kitchen. I hop out of my bed only to be greeted by the cold floor and my groggy eyes.

"Morning sleepyhead, why are you so early?" Since my throat is dry I grabbed the pitcher of milk fill my cup and chug it all down.

"School project, morning mom."

"Well why don't you go with Kai?" Normally I would say no but I kind of wanted some company. My brother wasn't the best but at least we acted civilized.

"Okay bye mom love ya!"

...

"So you agreed to walk with me?"

"Well why do you think I'm here?" God did my 17 year old brother just ask me the most stupidest question possible.

"What's up with you sis?" "You were saying what now?" *Sniff. I'm just so tired of tricks and cat and mouse games. "That made no sense." Well to me it was describing my life.

My brother was awaiting an answer, he stood arms crossed. I sighed no getting out of it now.

"I've been having weird dreams."

"Knew it."

"What was it stamped to my forehead."

"Not exactly, you have it birthmarked to your butt." I shriek in horror. I HAVE A BIRTH MARK! Kai was now bending down holding his stomach and laughing so hard his cheeks tinted pink. If it weren't for the circumstances you could say he was one adorable brother. "Ha-ha oh you should have saw the look on your face! Priceless." Great even me has abandoned me.

"Just wait a minute! What do you take me as?" What is this? I thought we were supposed to be serious in these kinds of discussions!

"An annoying brat of a sister that's what." I felt my blood boiling as I chased Kai all the way up the school but he was so fast I couldn't keep up with him. As I began to slow down Kai slowed down as well. I stopped panting trying to catch my breathe. God Kai's fast, though he has such long legs and not to mention Kai also plays soccer. I remember once Kai had asked me to be on his team and all I could do was follow him around like a puppy dog. That's it! I waited for Kai to approach me and then I attempted plan B.

I pouted my lips and attempted the cutest possible puppy dog face possible.

"Okay, okay." Works like magic everytime.

"Anyways your room is right next to mine." OH yeah so he could hear everything. I mentally slap myself on the head. Such an idiot. "Darn right you are." He frowned.

"Sis who were you talking to in there, your dreams I mean."

"I-i it was-"

"The truth!" Arms crossed. I guess I have no choice, oh here goes the humiliation.

I started from the beginning when I entered the tranquil place. How I had meant a beautiful girl. Her serenity like qualities made me at peace.I described her and then how she suddenly darkened like ice. How the waves seemed to follow her command. I went on to the part about another witch like figure but then she turned out to be like a granny to me. She seemed so wise. Then I told him about the birthday party and how I had been foolish. I felt horrible and how good it felt to get all of this off of my chest.

"No..." Kai seemed lost in thought. Did I say something wrong?

"Kai? Kai!? KAI?!?!" His head shot up again and I noticed that his face had darkened. It was like he just transformed into a different person.

"Be care Raven, promise to be careful." His face was so serious and not a trace of the Kai I knew.

"I-I promise Kai, you have my word." I felt so scared again and the unsettling feeling came back except twice as hard. I expected Kai to laugh and tease me like when we were little. I remembered the time we had stayed up all night laughing and giggling about the boogerman coming to eat me. Before I knew what I was doing I had Kai in an embrace and I just stayed there until I though my arms would fall off. Kai didn't move. Not one bit. Oh Kai, what did I say?

"See you later Kai, love you." Kai raised his head again and I could see his face was contorted with fear and pain. It almost made me want to cry. He smiled but I knew he had faked it, for my sake. As I turned around and walked towards class I could have sworn he said,

"Keira, it's you isn't it. But why?"

Hi everyone ;) Ooooh looks like Kai's hiding something. I'm sorry this chapter is a little short but don't worry the next chapters will be back to normal ;) Hoped you liked it and please comment ;)
