It's been 5 months since that situation happened between Chris's mom and dad, Ms. Taylor is in her last trimester of her pregnancy and Chris's dad is back in prison for child endangerment and domestic violence. These past few months has been stressful and we have finals all week and Prom on Friday.
We are at my house studying for finals and I think we are all wiped out from studying, we're sitting in our movie theater going crazy with all of our flashcards.
"Ugh I hate history why does this final have to be so hard." Ari says leaning on my shoulder making me laugh I'm helping everybody study since I have an A in history.
"Okay last question and we give our brains a break and go eat then head over to Chris's new house." I say looking at how tired everybody looked from studying.
"sounds like a plan lets go." Cara says
"Ugh no I'm tired" Sean says laying out and rolling on the floor making us laugh and Ari roll her eyes.
"Yeah Karlie my brain hurts studying all this history I can't take this anymore." Trent says making Chris shake his head.
"How is it I end up with the two most laziest friends out of the whole school." Chris says making us laugh.
"Okay what is the question." Ari says
"Okay this a easy one. Who was the first Windsor Monarch of the UK?" I say looking at everybody.
"Karlie what kind of question is that?" Sean says making me shake my head.
"Um Sean shut up I think I know this one. Is it George v (Reigned 1910-1936." Cara says looking at me uncertain.
"That's correct!" I say putting away my flashcards.
"Yay! I'm glad so can we go eat now?" Trent says making Cara roll her eyes.

A few days later...
Today is prom and I'm excited Cara and Ari stayed the night at my house because we are leaving from here when the guys come get us.
"Girls get up your nail appointment is at 9:30." I hear my mom yell making Ari and Cara groan.
"Auntie its only 7" Cara says rolling over and falling on the floor making Ari pop up and laugh.
'Exactly so get your asses up now" Ari's mom Mrs. Green says opening my door and coming in and grabbing me and Ari's foot and dragged us out of the bed.
