"Where are we going?" Beca asked Natalie nervously, while she drove to the directions the girl told her to go. "Some place I'll know you love. Turn right up here." Beca turned into this pathway that led her towards a creepy old warehouse. It was huge and rusty, it looked like it could fall apart any second. "Are you sure it's safe to go in there?" Beca asked anxiously, while she parked a few feet away from the old warehouse. Natalie turned and smirked at her, "Are you gonna chicken out on me already blue eyes?" Beca scoffed and looked back towards her, "Depends if you're gonna kill me or not in there." The brunette laughed as she unhooked her seatbelt, "Something tells me you wouldn't mind that." She said leaning over the console to lean towards Beca slowly. Beca gulped slightly as she saw Natalie lick her lips and look at her own. Beca was about to lean in the rest of the way but Natalie smiled and pulled away. "Now come on, I wanna show you something." Natalie jumped out of the car excitingly, grabbing her backpack and walking up to the old warehouse quickly. Beca chuckled as she got out as well and ran to catch up with the excited brunette. The green eyed girl was already to the big front sliding door and opening it, "welcome to what I call my humble abode." The girl said turning around and ushering Beca inside. Beca gaped at what she saw, (once again a visual.)

"Holy shit! Did you do this all by yourself?!" Beca asked amazed walking around and staring all over the place. Natalie laughed and nodded, "I like to renovate places what can I say, I'm a natural designer." She sat down on the green couch while patting next to her, indicating Beca to sit next to her. Beca obliged and sat down looking up at the ceiling still in amazement. "Is this what you wanted to show me? Cause if so I am throughly impressed." Natalie didn't say anything and kept staring at Beca. Beca finally looked towards her when she didn't reply, "what? Do I got something on my face?" Natalie slightly smiled and tilted her head sideways, "I know you from somewhere don't I?" Beca's face dropped and scratched the back of her neck, "I-I don't think so?" Natalie hummed and sat back, "I do know you...I see you everyday at the hospital. The close to death ward is what I like to call it." She said snapping her fingers together in realization. "Yea So? What is it to you?" Beca asked her angrily. Natalie put her hands up in defense, "Hey chill out, I know because I myself was put there not so long ago." She sat back up and got on her knees on the couch, shifting towards Beca. She grabbed Beca's right hand from her lap and brought it up to her chest. "You feel that?" Beca scrunched her eyes together in confusion as Natalie made her feel for her heartbeat. She shook her head no and Natalie smiled, "I have a heart disease or whatever. Basically my heart has a hole in it, I could drop at any second... So what about you blue eyes? No one stays in that place for nothing." Natalie said leaning back on the couch dropping Beca's hands back on her lap. Beca swallowed nervously, "I-uh got tumors...in my brain." Beca said gesturing to her head. Natalie pursed her lips at her, "I guess we need to cut someone's heart out for me and a new brain for you." Beca chuckled lowly, "I guess so...do you ever feel like this whole thing is pointless? All the tests and the hoping?" Natalie smiled at her sadly, "The only reason why I'm still here is because of my mom. But hey, maybe it is pointless. Maybe we just hold on to the inevitable...well guess what? I could care less." She said standing up walked over to her backpack from across the room and started to dig in it. Beca sighed out as she saw Natalie bring out a bag of inhalants, "Is that why you do this? All the drugs?" Natalie sat down beside Beca again with the paper bag in her hand and a gas can. "Hey it's better than all the drugs they usually pump me with." She said shrugging and spraying some of the gas in the bag. Beca nodded in agreement, "I guess you're right." Natalie smiled as she inhaled the bag completely, "Exactly, this right here? Is the best five minutes of my entire life." She said flopping the bag full of gas again. Beca stared at her in complete sadness, she gets where Natalie comes from. All those drugs gave her a sense of fulfillment, but they also left something she knew she could ever have. A reason to stop, a reason to live. Does she feel like she has that anymore? What is the reason she keeps going? Well her dad for one but is she doing it for herself as well? Beca shook her head in frustration. She doesn't want to think about this anymore, so she does the only thing she knows how to do. Give up, "Care to share?" Beca asked reaching her hand out towards the bag in Natalie's hands. Natalie breathed out as she smiled widely at Beca. She passed Beca the bag and the can and laid down on the couch with her feet on Beca's lap, staring up at the ceiling with a Cheshire smile on her face. Beca laughed with she filled the bag with as much gas as it could hold. She brought it up to her face and inhaled deeply.
