Louis Tomlinson ;

   "Congratulations-"

I grimaced, tuning him out because at this point, I was so done. I was done with the pain, I was done with the sacrifice. Why were we even here? The question was starting to arise in all of us, I could see it. Harry was hysterical, I knew him better than anyone and never have I ever witnessed him look so disconnected. There was a dead look in his eyes, the little sparkle that made him Harry was no more.

I reached over and grabbed his hand, and for a second he came back to reality, smiling at me through his tears. He was so strong, and I thought to myself, why couldn't I be? He cupped my face in his hands, his grip was so shaky. I pulled his hands away and gave him a hug as he buried his face in the crevasse of my neck.

   "I'm so afraid Lou... And I hate it..." he cried, his whole body humming in emotion. "I hate feeling so, vulnerable so... Weak. I hate for you guys to see me this way-"

   "Shhh..." I fought hard against the tears, calming him as I ran my fingers softly through his hair. "We are all afraid, so stop trying to be the rock. We just have to keep fighting... For as long as we can-"

  "As long as we can? Listen to yourself" he hugged me tighter, still muttering in my ear. "Lou? I don't think we're all making it out of here alive-"

   "Don't fucking say that!" I tugged at his hair lightly to get my point across. "Don't give up!"

  "I'm serious Lou! Calum's game, I had to choose" Haz's deep voice was so distorted from his emotion. "And that was the moment I realized, that it could happen again."

   "We need to move-" Liam rose to his feet catching everyone's attention. "This room is on a timer, and you heard what will happen when it runs out."

  "C'mon Haz" I took a good look at him, brushing the stray hairs out of his face. "I need you to be strong, just a little bit longer. We just have to believe that this is almost over- we just have to!"

I stood up and dusted myself off. Harry hung his head still on his knees. I held my hand out for him to take, waiting for him to get up. The other boys were already through the door. The timer had well over five minutes left on it and yet, Harry just sat there, crying to the floor.

   "Haz?" I fell back to one knee, lifting his chin. "What are you doing?"

  "I-I want stay..." he sighed, his breaths still shaky. "I-I can't keep doing this-"

My eyes widened. What the fuck did he just- What is he talking about? I clinched my teeth, forcing him to look into me. He pulled away turning his back to me and I just froze.

   "Y-you can't be serious??" I grabbed his arm as he shook me off. I came around to look at his face again that dimmed the bright look it usually had. "Haz look at me!!!"

  "Go!!!" he cried refusing to make eye contact. "Just leave!!!"

   "Fuck you! I am NOT leaving without you!" I growled at him, whipping the angry tears from my face. How could he be so reckless? After all we've been through. "You wanna die in here? Fine-"

  "W-what are you doing??" he spat.

   I sat beside him. "You die, I die. Plain and simple-"
