Harry Styles ;

I couldn't bare it. Seeing him this way was killing me. The screen beneath his feet flicked on, the same way mine had. I lost it. I started beating on the glass like some kind of animal until my fists were sore, but how could I help it? Nialler. He started to panic the same way I had and with his condition, he would surely have an attack soon. I wasn't the only one who found it hard seeing him this way. Liam cried pulling at his hair again as Lou tried to hold it all back. But what could we do?

  "If you're watching this-" the clown went on. "Congratulations, it means that your friends have survived. But I'm afraid that that is the least of your worries-"

We all winced.

  "Wh-whats gonna happen to me??" Niall cried looking at us like we had the answer. None of us knew what to say to make him feel better, and that only made him cry harder. "Harry please!!! Help me!!!"

I didn't know what to do. He cried for me, and I couldn't do anything to help him.

  "Most of your life, you've left everything in the hands of others. Your decisions, your career, your habits, your happiness. A lot of the things that go on around you are already decided. Which is why your freedom also now lies in the hands of your friends-"

 We all exchanged glances wondering what that could have meant.

  "I want to play a game" he went on ringing familiar bells. "The reward? Your life-"

My lips started to quake. We shivered at the eerie sound of those words again.

  "Hidden in this sanctuary are four keys, the keys to your freedom. But of course, your friends can tell you that the rules aren't as simple as they seem. Now that this room is fully lit you will notice the lights above you, and the contraptions set up around the room-"

I looked up along with Liam noticing a huge ring of lights in the ceiling circled around Niall. There had to be hundreds of them. They were all staggered, faced all in one direction; at him.

 "A-are those? Heat lights??" Liam's eyes grew.

I looked around noticing a few other things I had missed.

  "Every second after the timer stars, a light in the ceiling will beam. The longer you all take to disable the lights, the quicker you will notice the temperature flux in the room-"

 "He's gonna burn!!!" Liam cried. As the words hit Niall, he froze. "We have to find those keys or he'll burn in there!!!"

  "Liam please!!!" Niall screamed holding his stomach.

Shit. Liam was right. He would cook in there if enough of the lights above us beamed down on him. I looked around trying to figure out a plan. Nothing. I started to bite my lip knowing that we needed to figure something out soon.
