Hyung Jae's P.O.V :-

As Jungkook entered my heart started beating even faster.

I was scared, excited, nervous, anxious everything! The adernaline rush was not helping right now.

I was scared of what Father would say. I was scared of what he could do.

I don't even think there can be a chance of him excepting this. He wants me to marry Young Jin for two reasons. First, to get rid of me. Second, to get property and power.

Why would he choose my happiness with someone I like over all that after 20 years of pure non affection towards me? Plus he told me not to fall for him.....All these thoughts were running through my mind like bullet trains.

I would find it quite surprising if he'd agree actually. But who knows?

Jungkook looked at me and I looked at him. It seemed as of we were communicating with our eyes.

I took a deep breath as he walked down the Isle and was in front of Father.

He first bowed in front of father before greeting him and all that jazz.

"Yes young man. How do I help you?" Father asked in his intimidating but sounded comparatively calm.

"Sir I- I li-like your da-daughter" He tried to sound brave. I could see that he was nervous but he did a great job of hiding it.

There was silence throughout the court of ministers before the sound of laughter went piercing through it in seconds.

Father laughed as if it was the funniest joke he had heard.

"You look brave but your shaking voice tells me how brave you are" he laughed.

Jungkook grit his teeth.

"It- It's a pro- problem I ha- have si- since birth S- Sir"

"Oh is it? I wonder how true that is...Family?" Father smirked.

"N- None" he answered with a bold voice

"If I'm not wrong you are supposed to be joining as a soldier soon isn't it?" He asked with that damn smirk again.

"Y- Yes sir"

I could feel my blood boiling at this point. Isn't this a little too much?

Before I could ask father to stop-

"You poor nothing! You like her? No family, no job nothing! and you think I'll give you my daughter? Get lost before I kill you on spot!" He spat.

"S- Sir jud- judging o- on su- such mate- materialistic thi- things i- isn't th- they way t- to choos- choose a pe- perfect pa- partner y- you kn- know? It- it's love t- that ma- matters" Jungkook said.

I literally felt my heart crack. Here this guy matches all my thoughts- he knows these things and here I have my great father who is one in a billion who knows nothing but power and property.
