49. Lover Boy

Hyung Jae's P.O.V :-

I had woken up to Lia grinding some herbs. She smiled at me when she saw me awake.

"Good morning. You woke up way early that you do normally." She chuckled.

"Heh....I don't know why....You all have been making me sleep way too much." I stuck my tongue out.

"Well that can be a reason. Your lover boy will come in any moment with your brother now." She laughed.

I blushed at the 'Lover boy' comment but hid it anyway, knowing she will tease me if she notices it. 

"He's not my lover boy...." I said.

"What was that? Really? Oh right. He's more of husband material then I presume?" She smirked.

"Stop teasing me~" I whined and hid under the blanket.

"Oh oh~ Someone's trying to hide them blushing again, that also desperately."

"Lia stop~~~"

"Fine Fine. Let's help you off the bed to freshen you up." She says.

When I returned with Lia, Jimin and Jungkook were there already. Chatting about something.

Freshening up was a struggling honestly. It hurts go move and stings too.

They looked at us when they heard the door open.

Lia supported my weight as she helped me. Jungkook and Jimin both shot up to help me but then awkwardly looked at each other trying to decide who would help.

"Hyung you can go."

"Nah~ You an go too!"

"No no Hyung it's fine. You're elder to me."

"And you're younger. I should give you a chance fi-"

"Guys I swear if you both don't come here, I'll be bedridden too in at while" She whines to stop their awkwardness.

They looked at our direction and jumped in, supporting me from both the sides.

"Thank you..." I said as they help to sit up on the bed with my back to the headboard.

We spoke for a while, it was all small talk. Weird for a while before Lia sprung up.

"I forgot! I needed to get some herbs from the forest. Jungkook wanna come and help?" It was sudden but I let it slip.

"Oh um sure!" He agreed quick.

Lia grabbed two baskets and handed one to him before sprinting out. I saw Jimin nod at Jungkook.

"That was weird....." I raised an eyebrow.

"Oppa...What's going on?" I asked.

"Hmph....How about you lay down and I tell you? Here." He sat down on the bed and patted his thigh, signalling me to rest my head on his lap.

I nodded and slowly put my head on his thigh. I looked up at him curiously. He seemed not as cheerful as he normally was and I couldn't help but wander what happened.

He caressed my head gently before speaking.

"I've decided something....And I know I should have asked for your opinion on it because it's something regarding you but it's the only way I can keep you from harm and keep you happy." He softly said while looking at me.

"What do you mean...?" I asked.

"I've decided that you will go back to Busan and stay there with Jungkook like you did."

I looked at him, surprised as if he had grown a second head.

"What? No no no! I- I can't leave you again. The last time I left, things turned out like this. I don't want you be away from you again....Please. Are you up sending me away because of what father said? Oppa I promise...I won't harm anyone. I swear!" I pleaded.

"Why would you even think I give a damn about what father says about you? Jae listen...I don't want what happened yesterday to happen again, what if no one is around you when he tries of hurt you again? Not being able to see you for a few months is better that seeing you dead believe me....And it's hard for me too. I just want you safe from him. I know that you will be in good hands there. There are people who would keep you happy."

"Even you keep me happy! I can defend myself! Those years of training wasn't for nothing!" I tried to defend.

"I know, I know. But my brave warrior can't fight when she's so badly hurt. Hence, a weak later you would go to Busan with him. I bet you miss the people there."

"I do but-", he cut me off.

"No buts. I won't be able to write to you from the castle, so I'll tell Lia to post them for me before she comes to the castle everyday and get your letters to me okay? We would keep in contact like that hmm?" He cupped my cheeks gently.

"Even I don't like the fact that I'd be so far away from you but we don't have a choice Jae.....IBM promise you. Once I am crowned as the king, I'll get you back and meet you. I promise because I will be so happy to finally see my sister healthy and happy." He smiles, trying to hide the pain he felt. Little did he know that he sucks at it.

"You won't give me a choice will you?" I asked.

"I really wish I did....but Gwangju is not safe for you..." He said and bent down to peck my forehead.

"So I have a week with you?" I asked.

"I guess so....Doctor Lia won't let you go unless she's sure that you're fine to travel." He chuckled.

"Speaking of Doctor Lia and Lover- I mean Jungkook...Where are they?"

"I don't know. Lia had said that she and Jungkook would make something up so I can talk to you so....."

"This was planned?!"

"Of course! Making you understand something like this is no less than tackling a cyclone!" He laughed.

"You meanie!" I hit his hand.

"Ouch! Who would say that you're ask patient when you hit your lovely brother like that?" he teased.

"Say that again and I'll hit you harder! You're not Jiminie! You're Meanie!"

"And your name is Chipmunk! You tiny Chipmunk!" He laughed.

"Hey hey hey! Stop! Ouch!" He kept on laughing like a maniac as I continuously hit him.

"Serves you right Meanie!"
