45. Missing Piece

Author's P.O.V:-

As Jimin and Lia were in the garden, Jungkook was with Hyung Jae. 

"Remember when Seohyeon caught you using magic and started to cry because we didn't want the information to spread? Miss Minjee had saved us that day haha...She was so mad when she couldn't find you the  day they took you away..."

Silence.

"See I don't even stutter anymore. The exercises helped so much you know? I guess you being injured gave me such a big shock that I forgot to stutter haha....Jae...Talk to me please..." he pleaded.

Silence.

"Is this because you're angry with me? Jae I swear, I didn't know anything. I know I know,I should have believed you but I am just so impulsive, heartbreak had destroyed me. I mean it when I say I love you, I mean it when I say I want to live with you. I mean it all. Our love isn't the mistake....I am the dumbhead here. Please..... I know you love me and I do too with all my heart, I can't stay without you. I can't let you go....We both know that...Then why this silence? Do I prove my love to you? Please....talk to me!"

Silence...

He bit his lower lip in frustration.

"I'll prove it to you..." he whispers before attacking her neck with kisses while he had her hand in his.

He felt as if he had found the missing piece of himself when his lips came in contact with her skin.

Giving butterfly kisses here and there, his eyes widened when he felt her hand gripping his slightly. He moved a little away from her still had a surprised look. He saw her turn her head to the other side.

This was the first time she had made such a movement, all this while it was just tiny movements until now. A wide smile was plastered on his face.

"You're moving!" He exclaimed.

Out of happiness, he went to peck her lips, but the moment his lips touched hers, it felt like the time had stopped. The same sparks and flutters that he had felt the first time they kissed came back rushing.

So instead of being pecking, his lips lingered there for longer, capturing her lips. He was intoxicated. She was his drug.

He was more that sure at this point that a lady who is ready to sacrifice her happiness and life for him and her loved ones, is the one he needed in his life. He knew that she was his knight in shining armour, his world, his drug, his life- basically his everything.

Since her mouth was already slightly parted, it was easy to insert his tongue into her mouth. Trying to make her feel the love he had for her, he continued but froze when he felt something.

He felt her tongue move. To be sure, he stopped moving his just to feel her tongue wrap around his. With the brightest smile he had had ever since she had gone, he went back to kissing.

Until...

Her eyes flung open and she gasped. Jungkook stopped his actions and moved away as he looked at her close her eyes again and slowly try to open it because of the sudden light she was met with.

He observes her as she slowly opened her eyes.

Finally it was the moment, they had had being dying to see. Hyung Jae awake and hap-

"J- Jungkook?" She widened the eyes and shot up to get away. As soon as she did, her expression twisted into a painful one as she clutched her stomach and let out a whimper.

"Jae!" He rushed to help her but she denied his help and lied down with a painful expression on her own.

He was confused at first at this behaviour but stopped looking for an answer when he saw something. Just like they say that the eyes are the windows to our soul and emotions, he saw something in the eyes he admired.

He saw something that made his guilt come crawling back once again, he saw something that broken another piece of him. Looked like the missing piece he was looking for was yet far away.

What he saw left him shook.

He saw fear in those eyes.

Hyung Jae, as much as she was in pain due to jolting up....her heart ached more at the sight of him.

Their encounter in the prison had shaken her to the core and there were red flags all around the idea of facing him right now.

She was scared, not ready, frightened and lost. Heck, she didn't even know how many days it had been since her birthday!

She nervously looked at Jungkook, her eyes betraying her and showing the fear she felt. Jungkook didn't know what to do anymore after this tiny incident.

"How are y-" he was cut off when the door opened revealing a sad Jimin who was looking down and had Lia still consoling him.

Lia looked up and paused to blink again. Was it real or was she hallucinating? Hyung Jae was looking at Jimin and her with relief and happiness written all over her face.

Jungkook noticed the sudden flicker from fear to happiness in her eyes when the couple entered. It broke him somewhere a little more to know that he now held a negative spot in the life of the lady he loves.

"Ji- Jimin! Look!" She let out not being able to believe the sight in front of her.

"Wha- Why?" He questioned before looking up and noticing that his sister that he had ben crying for all the while was now looking at him with a wide smile. He took slow and small steps until she held her hand out and he took it.

"You're awake right? And this is just not my head playing with me right?" He asked as tears made his eyes glossy.

She hummed in response as he broke down and hugged her.

As Jimin had made his way to her, Jungkook stood up and started to walk out wanting to give them some space and get his space too. He had way too many things in his head right now.

As he started to walk away, he felt a tug on his sleeve, he turned around to see Lia had followed him out and was now stopping him.

"Where are you going don't you wanna talk of her? You've been going crazy to talk to her!"

I wanted to set a goal and achieve it for today and what better way is there to get myself to update 😆
