40. Moonlight

I jolted up from sleep. As soon as I did, the things mom had said hit me like a horse.

I looked around for Jimin and saw him sitting with back to the bed. He was in a uncomfortable position but was sleeping nonetheless.

I still felt the fever lingering but with all the strength I had, I slowly got out of bed, careful enough to not wake Jimin up. I went to the window where I had kept the candles. I also picked out one of my brushes so I could crave the runes in the candles. I didn't forget the matchsticks in case you're wondering.

Grabbing them all, I made my way to Jimin's room next. Opening the door slowly, I peeked in. I saw the table and there was a cup too.

The cup was sitting in the middle like a decoration. Jimin had told me that the cup belonged to mom. I just didn't know it was that sacred.

(A/n - The cup is like that but a little bit taller)

Taking the cup along with me, I headed outside.

I snuck my way to the huge pond of the palace. Luckily no one saw me and that area was always deserted so I didn't have to worry about it.

The cold wind blowing made me feel a little bit better but the temperature was still lingering.

Take a deep breath. I started carving the runes.

I first carved water runes in two and then carved the crescent of the moon of the third candle.

(A/n - The moon symbol is the normal crescent )

Lighting them up with a match stick I put them side to side with the cup.

The Cup seemed to be shining for some reason. I took it and filled it with a the water of the pond. The water showing light too for some reason.

It all seemed to confusing to me. I was merely just a girl trying to complete her dead mother's wish.

I looked up at the Moon. It was full moon tonight indeed. The moon was shining brightly.

I looked around to see that at a distance, a person was there. A lady in white to be specific.
