We went both our ways after that. I went to my room and put some clothes and some necessities like money into a small bag. I hid it into the closet.

As much as I wanted to tell Jimin and Lia, I feared that it would get out and we would be in troubled so I decided to leave a letter behind me.

Time had seemed to past pretty fast. I didn't speak of it until in was night.

I looked out the window towards the Sun Dial.

11:40 pm

It's time.

I slowly pulled out the rope I had made out of long pieces of cloths and had tied them to each other.

I looked around the window once again to be sure of no gourds being around.

Guards come  for a around from here every twenty minutes and they had passed a while ago so it was alright. I had dressed in a simple black attire so I was hidden in the dark. I covered my face so no one would see me.

Once I was sure there was no one, I tied one end of the rope to a pillar in my room and threw the other end down. With the bag hung from my shoulder I held the rope and started to climb down, slowly.

I tried to make minimum amount of sound and gently set foot on the ground.

Safe.

I looked around once more.

No guards.

Phew.

I made my way towards the horse stable silently and cautiously. Any sound would be the end of my life according to me.

I passed the peaceful pond and then the garden surrounding it quickly.

I immidiately walked into a shadow once I saw a guard standing near a tree nearby.

I squinted my eyes and realised. He wasn't standing.

He was sleeping.

I slowly shook my head and moved on.

It's night time! Of course these lazy men will fall asleep! Let alone it's almost mid night!

God I felt like a Ninja.

Ninja Hyung Jae!

Eek- I stepped on a twig and it made the sound.

"Who's there?" I heard someone call out.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

What do I do!?

"Meow" I tried to imitate a cat.

"What was that?"

"Oh I think it's a cat"

"Meow~" I called out again.

"Let's go, it's just a cat"

I let out a sigh of relief when I heard them walk away.

I did a little celebration dance in my head when the stable came into my view.

I made my way there trying to make minimum sound.

When I did, I swear I felt like my life had depended on it.

I walked as the dim light of the scattered candles around the stable lit the way.

In that light I was a shadow. Of a man. Near a horse.

I stopped breathing for a while.

I moved cautiously towards it.
