"I just don't even think I'm going to go, no use." I said as I sat with Michael on the couch watching movies. He sighed and shook his head.

"Oh your going I don't care if you have a date or not."

"No I don't even want to go all together there's no use with no date." I mumbled.

"Then I'll try my hardest to get you one." I knew that he meant the but that wasn't going to help me feel better.

"I don't want one." I said. Michael laughed.

"You do want one you just want a specific one." He was right I did but I wasn't in the mood for thinking about her.

"Your right I want Emma, she's either to cool to go to the dance now or she's going with a guy who's way to cool for me."

"You sound like a fucking movie that came out in 2001."

"Shut up."

"You can get better."

"Shut up." I replied quickly.

"What, your a lot-

"Don't fucking talk about her like that." I said defensively, Michael rolled his eyes.

Weeks went on again and Michael didn't shut up about the dance and how I was going to the point where my mom heard. Now my mom also wanted me to go though. I was going to just ignore her about it to but when she came home last Sunday with a nice suite in hand I couldn't reject it anymore. I would just have to put up with this.

I sat in the back seat of michaels car as me, him, and kalee drove towards the school for the. Valtibes dance. Michael wasn't dress up like kalee and I were but I wasn't excited like the two of them were. I could see why they were both going with dates, each other. But I was alone and didn't even want a date deep down I guess I just wanted to not go.

We pulled up into the parking lot finally the place was packed it took Michael 5 minutes to find a parking spot. The three of us walked up to the doors and I opened the door for the couple as they walked in. Michael had his arm around Kalees waist thag was the most touchy I'd even seen them to this day. It kind of surprised me. Michael payed for all of us to get into the dance thankfully since I didn't have any money. The three of us sat on the bleachers eating the shitty pizza that they offered until the first slow song came on. Of course Kalee and Michael went to go dance. I didn't mind I wanted them to have a good time together. Unfortunately that left me on my own. I sat looking around at everyone slow dancing happily as I drummer my fingers on the table quickly. A part of me didn't want to look but a deeper part of me was already searching as I drummed my fingers even faster with anxiety. And finally I found him. Calum was smiling at Emma as he slow danced with her and she smiled back. They were level to each other as hey danced perfect for them to stare-

Wait

That's not Emma.
