Dan Howell rolled around notcommitedly in his small bed. He should buy a new one - he had the money, but his energy was all being sucked out from recently accepting a new Job as a Radio DJ. Dan should be happy, but then again there are lots of things Dan should and shouldn't be. From the persona he uses on the Radio, to his real-life attitude, Dan had never actually gotten any true life long friends.

He was completely and utterly alone in the best friend department, apart from maybe Louise, who dropped by occasionally, but was always way to busy with her Husband to really notice Dan's situation. Sure, Dan got along decently with everyone at work and most the people he met, but although they became briefly friends, it wasn't the same. Because they were work friends, nothing more, nothing less.

However, addmitedly it wasn't as if he was trying that hard. He was completely comfortable for where he was at and what was currently occuring in his life right now. Though, this feeling of comfort, was definatly not enjoyment, no. You see, Dan, or so it happens, is slightly suicidal. Cuts decorate his wrists every so often, ranging from his elbow downwards. Dan, although comfortable with it, he was not in a good place right now.

He needed somebody to come along and pull him out of this trance, make him realize what was going on - and that crude awakening wasn't coming any time soon.

Phil Lester, however, was the complete opposite. He was a happy, go-lucky, carefree guy without a worry in the world. After horrific events that had plagued him through his child-hood, Phil was prepared to take the world head-first. He'd managed to put those memories behind him and was now probably one of the most kindest and chilled people you'd ever meet. Exactly the type of guy Dan needed to meet.

And that would've happened, their lives would be totally different, if fate hadn't been twisted, causing Phil's old manager to sadly commit suicide after his wife had caught him cheating, meaning Phil had to get a new manager, one who new nothing of his likes and dislikes, therefore  accepting an interview by the News on TV. One that would change Phil's life for the worse and one he'd surely regret forever.

You see, if his new manager hadn't done this, this is more or less what would've happened in this story of twisted fate.

Phil would've than gained a request for a Radio 1 Interview, interviewed by the new rising star 'Dan Howell', they would've played a game called 'Drama Llamas' and afterwards, Dan and Phil would become close. Phil would save Dan and furthermore, himself. It would've been perfect, the best story that I could choose to write, one that was heart-warming brimming with happiness and joy.

However I'm honest and you deserve to know the truth. So forgive me if you shed a tear, but here is what really happened in this brutal tale of depression, suicide and...

Love?
