(A/N: I'M  WRITING AS DAN AGAIN BECAUSE AT THIS POINT IN TIME IT'S EASIEST TO TELL THE STORY FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE)

My voice caught in my throat. I wanted to thank Phil, I wanted to say so many different things too him, but it felt as if I just couldn't find the right words, like I was suddenly unable to form sentences, I scolded myself for being just so unbelievably awkward. Phil smiled at me weakly. "I'm glad your getting better now, Dan." Phil told me, his eyes sparkling. A rush of appreciation for Phil's kind nature raced through my body, reminding me how Phil seemed to not care for my awkwardness, in fact he seemed to relate quietly more than judge me for my weird tendencies.

"Thanks." I murmured quietly. "Thank you, Phil." I hesitated, seeing Phil's eyes light up. "Honestly, you helped a complete stranger and I wouldn't be here if you hadn't. I'll never be able to properly vocalise my appreciation for everything you've done for me - without even knowing who I am. You've already gained my trust and - if you'd like it - I was thinking that maybe we could get to know each other better, seeing as we'll probably be meeting more through Louise." I told him. Once I'd finished my short announcement, anxiety caved in on me. How will he react?

Phil smiled at me warmly, melting away any worries I had. "It's fine! You seem like an amazing person with so much too live for - plus, the way Louise talks about you makes me think that your probably one of the kindest people she knows and one of her favourite people." I returned his smile at this and we turned our heads back too where we'd come from, preparing to return to the bombard of questions that would almost certainly be thrown at us by the other three. We then entered the room, Phil re-taking his place on the sofa and me sitting down next to Louise.

"So..." Louise began, turning to me. "Dan do you mind enlightening us all why you and Phil - who you've only just met - went out the room too talk privately? You celebs not letting us normies in your gossip? Wow Dan, I'm hurt. We've been friends for how many years now? And you're just going to throw it all away and run off with other famous people like you." Louise whimpered jokingly, grinning as she spoke. I laughed at her. "No, no. I'd never leave you Louise." I replied. Louise raised her eyebrows at me and I began to laugh once more. "Well..." I added slowly.

Louise punched me in the shoulder which must've been for atleast the third time now, a fake scowl on her face. "No, but seriously. If you guys don't mind telling us what the hell just happened there - we'd be very glad to listen." Louise looked at me and Phil pointedly, shrugging suggestively. I sighed, smirking at my friend's mannerisims. "Well, turns out Phil and I have met before." I told her cautiously, thinking about each word before I said it. "We just, didn't recognise each other, as in like, from the TV and Radio." I finished, making eye contact with Phil briefly.

Phil didn't seem to mind what I told them, just nodding and agreeing with what I said. He was leaving it completely up to me, as it was more personal to me than him and he wasn't sure which parts of the story I wanted left untold - which I appreciated highly. I wasn't sure Chris and PJ knew about the incident yet and I was fairly certain that they would find out soon, but I wasn't sure now would be the best time to tell them, considering we'd literally only just met. "We met two days ago in the night, just sort of - bumped into each other in a way." I told them.

The switch in Louise's brain turned on, she realised immediatly what I meant, beaming at Phil. "Oh!" Her face lit up and without warning, she jumped up and rushed over to Phil, pulling him into a big hug. Chris and PJ just sat there confused, watching the scene unfold. Louise eventually let Phil go. "Do you know?" Was all Phil said. Louise nodded happily. Phil smiled at her. Louise then returned to her seat after murmering a quiet thank you into Phil's ear. She looked at Chris and PJ, almost only then remembering that they were still there and we were in their house.
