- D.H -

I stayed for a while at this complete stranger's house. A little too long in fact that I'd accidently fallen asleep in his spare room. The next morning I awoke, momentarily forgetting where I was and what had happened the night before. The floorboards creeked as I edged as quietly as possible down the stairs as too avoid waking any life saving strangers. However, my efforts were put to waste as when I reached the ground floor, I spotted the familiar black hair pondering in the kitchen. He turned around as I came downstairs, half distracted by cooking something.

Smiling warmly, he beckoned me inside the kitchen. Reluctantly, I walked into the kitchen, feeling extremely awkward and tense. He must've noticed as well, because... "Relax!" He smiled at me. "I'm making scrambled eggs. Want some?" He asked kindly. I didn't say anything, because I wasn't sure what to say to his caring tone. I was speechless he was doing this all for a stranger who'd refused to tell him his name. "I'll take you're silence as a yes then." He grinned, passing me a plate. I looked down at the scrambled egg before me. "Thanks..." I mumbled.

The black-haired man sat down opposite me, beginning to eat his own breakfast. I sat uncomfortably, slowly eating. "Hey..." I began. "Thanks for... Yesterday." I explained, looking up and meeting his distractingly deep crystal blue eyes. He smiled at me softly. "It's alright. I was just doing what anybody should. I couldn't let something like that happen. Plus, you seem like a pretty nice guy." He reassured me slightly. We sat in silence for a few minutes, though, it felt as if the tension had left the air and now it was a comfortable morning silence.

The stranger finished his breakfast first. He glanced sideways, eyes meeting the surface of his phone and turning it on. A notification was on the screen and me, being the nosey person I was, attempted to make out what the notification was. It was a text, from somebody called 'ChrisSy Ken - DOLL', I held back a snort at the weird contact name, but I couldn't really say anything, my contacts were probably just as bad. My eyes slipped to the time it was sent, which was happened to be yesterday around the time which I caluclated  would've been when I was in the taxi.

"Oop." I heard him murmer to himself. "I'll call him later." He grinned, noticing my eyes on his phone screen. I blushed, my cheeks turning red at being caught snooping. He laughed briefly at my expression. "I'm... Sorry?" I told him.

"Hah! No need to keep apologising young laddi boi. You keep doing that actually, I mean I guess your keeping true to British stereotypes." He pointed out, which made me smile.

"Don't tell me about it - I am literally the embodiment of all the British stereotypes. I articulate, making me have a good ol' strong southern accent and complain about the weather every chance I get. Don't even get me started on how often I have tea or crumpets." I shrugged.

"Same - though I don't think I have a very strong southern accent - I used too have a strong northern one though because I was grew up in the North of England.  Thats the funny thing about stereotypes though, because they always for some reason are so true." He told me, a look of wonder in his eyes. I nodded. "I guess that's why they're made a stereotype though, because people realise that we all do those sort of things." I pointed out. The man shrugged, agreeing with me. My eyes flicked to the left of his head where a oldish clock was hanging on the wall.

I was suprised to see that it was already 10am. Either I woke up pretty late or I'd been chatting with this new acquaintance I'd aquired from then night before for much longer than I'd orignally realised. I looked back at him, who'd noticed my attention divert for the few seconds it did. "I-I've just seen the time." I began awkwardly. "I should probably be getting back to my house - I think I left the door open and well..." My mind thought back to Louise who would probably be arriving there soon. "I don't want too make people worry." I finished slowly. He nodded.
