- P.L -

As the next day came around and I had officially spent my first night in my new bed, I awoke to lingering thoughts and various anxieties of what the day ahead held with it, awaiting my arrival. Yesterday, Dan and I had made an extremely bold move and I still wasn't sure how people would react too it. I hadn't checked my phone since I'd tweeted yesterday and I had made sure to turn it all the way off so no notifications would come through. Dan hadn't though. I'm nearly one hundred percent certain that he is aware of the reaction that the world lay in wait for me too see. I had heard it. Dan pacing his room repeatedly during the night. I hadn't realised that he was the type of person too always stay up late into the night and in some cases even into the early hours of the morning.

I rolled out of bed and groaned as my body fell the short distance from my bed too the wooden floor, making a stinging sensation rush through my elbow. Slowly, I stood up, getting to my feet and wiping the sleep from my eyes. As my senses began to focus, I noticed the familiar scent of pancakes wafting through from the kitchen. Without another moment of hesitation, I quickly walked towards the kitchen to wear the smell had been coming from. Dan turned round and greeted me briefly with a nod of his head before turning back to the pan he was currently holding over the stove. I walked towards him and sat on a stool by the island in the center of the kitchen.

Dan eventually turned round, a sort of childish grin on his face. "You ready for this? Watch my skill." Dan told me, the smirk still on his face. I snorted slightly, prepared for the ultimate fail that was about to take place infront  of me. Dan held the the pan out infront of him, psyching himself up for the all-important pancake flip. Suddenly, he flung the pancake upwards towards the ceiling with a lot of force. Maybe a little too much force even, because a few seconds later Dan was groaning as we both watch the pancake stay stuck to the ceiling. "Ah shit." Dan's face fell as the pancake hit the ceiling. I laughed at him as he desperately dragged over a chair and attempted to scrape the remenance of the failed pancake from the ceiling.

"That was actually the most impressive thing I've seen you do." I commented through my giggles. "I'm pretty sure I couldn't of got a pancake stuck to the ceiling even if I tried too." I told him truthfully. Dan shrugged slightly. "That was just a warm up flip, so shut up philly." Dan replied, giving up on the tiny bits of pancake still stuck to the ceiling, uttering about they'd probably fall down later anyway. "Didn't look like a warm up to me, Danny." I dragged out his name purely too annoy him. It worked - slightly. Dan turned to me. "Well you try the next one then." He demanded. I nodded, smiling at him and accepting his challenge.

It didn't take long for the next pancake to be ready. I stood as Dan handed me the pan. "Go On then." Dan pushed. I nodded, all my concentration on the pancake. I took a short breath and...

...The pancake landed almost perfectly the other way round in the pan. I turned to Dan, grinning widely. He shrugged. "Mine was just a warm up." I raised my eyebrows and the two of us broke into laughter.

After Dan and I had finished eating breakfast, we returned to our seats from the day before, my laptop still where I left it on the coffee table before us while Dan managed to sink further and further into the sofa. I, however, sat up right, staring at my laptop nervously. I glanced towards Dan. "Have you seen the reaction?" I asked him. Dan only looked at me not saying a word. Eventually, he nodded, a small smile on his face. "Have a look. You'll be surprised." He told me. I turned back to the laptop, my pulse pumping uncontrollably. I reached forwards and began to log into my Twitter account. As it began to load my page, I shut my eyes, my mind racing through the many out comes I'd considered before and after I'd tweeted.
