Louise came round again the next day, after leaving late previously. I opened the door too her wide smile and let her inside. We'd decided too go out and have lunch out somewhere. I just needed to get ready as Louise had come round a little earlier than I'd originally  expected. I nodded too her and rushed upstairs, pulling on a pair of black ripped jeans and a eclipse t-shirt. I'd already managed to straighten my hair before Louise had first arrived so I didn't need to worry about that. I re-appeared downstairs and walked into the kitchen where I found Louise.

She turned round and spotted me immediatly. "Wow Dan." Louise smirked. "Full black again." Louise commented. I only shrugged. "What can I say," I murmered. "It's a good colour and it goes with everything. Also, it's not fully black." I pointed out, gesturing to the white ring on the otherwise black t-shirt. Louise raised her eyebrows at me. "Whatever, you can wear what you want. Even if you do look like a black hole personified." Louise replied. I pouted at her, now finding it was my turn to give her a strange look. Louise and I made our way to the front door.

Louise paused before opening the door, turning around to face me. "Actually, Dan..." She began, looking at me pleadingly. "Could we please drop by my friends PJ and Chris' house please? I want to thank them in person for... You know." Louis asked. I nodded, I didn't have any problem with that - I wasn't too hungry to complain about being held back from food for a few minutes. Louise smiled. "Thanks Dan, I know how you feel about food, so just thought I'd ask now before you get too hangry." I shrugged, ignoring the fact she'd said that I get hangry when I'm hungry.

Louise turned again, opening my front door and leaving the house. I followed her out, closing the door behind us. We approached her car and got into it, Louise driving and me sitting in the passenger seat next too her. Her car wasn't anything flashy, it was just your normal everyday vehichle - and that's what I liked about Louise. She was practical, it was true, she probably could afford a fancy car, but Louise had never seen the point in it. She only needed a car to drive to places in, so who cared how expensive it was and what it looked like. I agreed with her as well.

We sat in a comfortable silence as Louise began to drive in the direction of the cafe we were going too to have lunch in. Though, we took a quick detour down a road I didn't recognise, obviously going in the direction of what must be PJ and Chris' house. I glanced at the car's dashboard. I noticed that we could connect to multiple different radio stations and I reached forwards to pick one too fill the silence. My eyes darted up and down the screen, when I noticed one station inparticular that caught my attention. Radio 1. Louise noticed me looking as well.

I looked at the time. My heart pumped. This was usually the time when my radio show would be on right now. Shakily, I selected the station, midly intrested to see who they'd filled my spot with. I heard a Radio DJ's voice that I didn't recognise. I'd met most of the DJ's at Radio 1, so I found this pretty strange. They must've got someone completely new, which meant that they had permanently found a replacement for me. So, long story short, there was no chance I would be getting a job there any time soon and I was completely jobless with no source of money.

My breathing caught in my throat and I quickly changed the stations, unable to listen any longer.  We pulled up to some traffic lights and Louise patted my arm caringly. When the lights switched green again, she took her hand away, my source of comfort disappearing with it. Soon the River Thames came into view, bringing bad memorys with it, memorys that I wished to forget. I tried to keep my breathing steady, but my mind kept going back to that fatful night in which I'd nearly managed to take my own life. I attempted to distract myself with other facts about this area.
