Chapter 10

It's been a couple weekes since Jc and I broke up. Aaron asked me out and of course I said yes. We're going to Schlitterbahn today with Devin and Chase. They have been spending a lot of time together. He did ask her out and she said yes.

I never realized how much eaiser it was to have a boyfriend that you can date without it being illegal.

My dad has been on a business trip so he hasn't said anything about Jc to me but I'm getting my phone back today.

When I get to the kitchen, my dad is sitting at the table with my phone next to him. "Hi dad." I say as he turns to me. "Your teacher?" And the gun goes off. "I didn't know he was my teacher till school started." I tried to tell him. "And you didn't cut it off then? He could get arrested. I am so disappointed in you." He said walking out of the room. "It's over though!" I tried to yell back.

I broke down in tears as a walked outside to my old tree house from 5th grade. I climbed up and cried. And cried. And cried.

After awhile I woke up my face wet and laying on the floor. My phone started ringing. I pick it up, blocked number.

"Hello?"

"Brayden? You hate me. I know. but, I am in love with you. I'm sorry."

Then they hung up. Who was that? What was- wait. that voice. I know who it was. I climb downstairs and head back into the house and up to my room. When I get in there Aaron is sitting on my bed looking at an old photo album.

"Those are old." I laughed a little. He looks up and sits the photo album aside. "Have you been crying babe? Come here." He says motioning me towards him. I sit on him lap and start crying into his chest. "What's wrong baby?" He says rubbing my back. It's time to tell him. "I have something to tell you. Mr. Caylen and I..." And I went on and on. I tild him everything. "Wow." He gets up starts pacing. "Okay well lets just leave to get your mind off this." He says picking me up and walking me to his car. We pick up Chase and Devin at Chase's house.

Devin's POV

Chase and I sit in the back of Aaron's truck. Chase grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers. He turns his head and whispers in my ear, "I love you." His breath on my skin tickles. I giggle. "Stop that tickles!" I laugh turing and kissing his cheek. He grabs my waist and srags me closer to him as he plants a big kiss on my lips.

We finally get to Schlitterbahn. Aaron parks, we turn in our tickets, and we head in. I find some lounge chairs by the wave pool for us. we set our stuff down and take our clothes off leaving us on our swimsuits. I look over at Chase and he is staring at me. "Can I help you?" I say. Chase slowly walks towards me. He's creeping me out. Then he grabs my waist and throws me over his shoulder. I start kicking and screaming fir him to put me down but he doesn't he runs intothe water with me and dunks me under.

After a while of riding rides and having fun, we decide to go to dinner at a nice restaurant. We pack up all our stuff and head to the car. Aaron druves us to a restaurant and we all go in. I order a ceaser salad and so does Brayden. Chase and Aaron start talking about football. Brayden nudges me with her foot under the table and motions me towards the bathroom. We both go in the bathroom. "What's up?" I ask. "I told Aaron today about Jc and I." A tear falls down her cheek. "Don't cry bray please." She nodded and sniffled while wiping her tears with a tissue.

She got it together and we walked out with our headsheld high forgetting about Jc.
