Aria's POV:

We pulled up infont of Maggie's house. "So, this is it?" I asked Ezra. "Yup." He replied. We got out of the car and started walking up the path. The house had a nice front garden with pretty flowers growing from the soil, flowers around the door and in baskets hanging off of the edge of the windows, a beautiful path with no cracks and a door mat that said 'Welcome to the Cutler's residence'. I saw that Ezra was shaking. I knew that it was hard for him to be seeing his ex-girlfriend really upset. I rung the doorbell which had a nice and calm tune to it. After about 10 seconds, Maggie opened the door. She looked up at us. "Ezra...Aria...hey!" She said, with a small smile. Ezra didn't say anything, he just stared at her. There was a silence until I broke it. "We saw the news...we wanted to visit you to see how you were doing." I said to Maggie. "Thankyou...both of you. I have to admit that it has been quite hard for me since I found out the news. I really appreciate you coming. Come in." She said to us, stepping aside and motioning us to come inside. I walked inside with Ezra following. Tears came to my eyes when I saw the many pictures of Malcolm around the house. Ezra looked the same way as me. We sat down on the sofa and Maggie sat in the seat infront of us. She picked up a picture of Malcolm when he was 3 years old and a tear came from her eye. She wiped it away. "He was a great little boy. So full of life. Not anymore." She said, still staring at his picture. "You're right. He was full of life. He didn't deserve this." I said, holding onto Maggie's hand from across the table. She smiled at me and then looked at Ezra. "How are you doing, Ezra?" She asked him. There was a silence until Ezra started speaking, "I believed Malcolm was my child and I enjoyed being his...father. When I found out he wasn't mine...I flipped. When you left that day...I still tried to make it seem like he was mine. I thought that for quite a while. When I found out that he was dead...that feeling went away and I had no idea why." Tears formed in my eyes. I had never heard Ezra say anything so filled with emotions in my life. "I still don't know who the father is...but even if I do find out...you will always be the best father to Malcolm." Maggie told Ezra. I smiled at what Maggie just said. He really was a great father to Malcolm and he sure was a good father to Cassedy too. "Would you like anything to drink? Tea? Coffee?" Maggie asked us both. "Tea would be nice, thankyou." I said to her. "Same." Ezra said. A couple of minutes went by and Maggie brought in our tea. We all talked and it was great. All of a sudden, I got a text from Spencer. "Ezra..." I said. "Yeah?" He asked. "I just got a text from Spencer. Cassedy threw up." I told him. "We'll have to leave in a couple of minutes. I just need to finish my coffee." Ezra said. When I looked at Maggie, she looked confused. "Cassedy? Who's Cassedy?" She asked. I forgot to tell her about Cassedy. We were all caught up in Malcolm talk. "Cassedy is mine and Ezra's baby." I told her. "Oh. I didn't know you two had a child." She said. "So how old is she?" She asked me. "Nearly a year old." I told her. "I'd love to see her sometime." She said to me and Ezra. "You should come over next weekend for dinner." I offered. "Yeah that would be a great idea." Ezra added. "I have no plans so sure. Why not?" She asked. Her small smile turned into a big one. "Well, we better get going." I said to Maggie. I wrote mine and Ezra's number on a pice of paper I found in my bag and I gave it to Maggie. She wrote hers in the corner, wripped it off and gave it to me. "Now we have eachother's numbers, we can start interacting more often. We'll call you with the details on the dinner." I told Maggie. Maggie nodded and smiled. We said our goodbyes to Maggie and we headed home. "Great idea on the dinner." Ezra told me, holding my hand as we walked down Maggie's path. "Thanks. I really think that it's good for you to get talking with Maggie again. That's half of the reason why I suggested it. Ezra softly kissed my lips and we hopped in the car.
