A Love To Hold On To: An Ezria Fan Fiction

Getting back

Spencer's POV:

I was holding Cassedy in my arms whilst patiently waiting for Aria and Ezra to get back. I figured they weren't even close to getting home yet so I put Cassedy in her cot for a while so I could clean up the vomit that was all over the red and blue rug in the living room. I looked in the draws for plastic bags or black bags and I checked the cupboard but I couldn't find anything. I looked in Aria and Ezra's bedroom for any old shopping bags. I found a Forever21 bag at the back of Aria's closet and ran downstairs to clean it up. Just before I could get to the living room, I heard the door open. Aria and Ezra then appeared with worried looks on their faces. Aria ran to Cassedy who looked happy as ever in her cot. Ezra came over to the rug, "I'll take it from here." He said, grabbing the bag and taking out some plastic gloves from out of a draw next to the sofa. I stud up and went to see Aria and Cassedy. "It's good that she's OK, isn't it?" I said to Aria. She nodded, cuddling her baby. Ezra walked into the kitchen with a bag filled with baby vomit and he threw it in the trash. Cassedy had bits of vomit on her clothes so Ezra offered to go and change her. He took Cassedy downstairs and me and Aria sat down to talk. "Sorry we couldn't get back in time. It's a long way from here to Maggie's house." Aria said to me. "It's cool. So, how'd it go at Maggie's?" I asked her. "Great! There were countless emotional moments but it was great talking. We have eachother's numbers and she's coming over for dinner next week." Aria told me. I was stunned because the last words I had heard about Maggie from Aria weren't very pleasant. "That's great! I'd be happy to babysit for Cassedy if you'd want to again because you might want alone time to talk." I suggested. "It's OK. Maggie wants to meet Cassedy and we were actually planning on getting Cassedy at the table too." Aria said. We both laughed and Ezra came downstairs with Cassedy in his arms. She had on a pretty yellow flower dress which Alison got her in Hawaii. He passed Cassedy over to me so I could say goodbye to her. I finished saying goodbye and I kissed her forehead. I said bye to Ezra and Aria and I left.
