Hanna's POV:
So Aria was taking us upstairs and we all had no idea why. She said that she had a great idea on what we could do. She lead us to the attic door and that's when I started to back up.
"No, no,no,no,no,no! We're not going in there! Well, you can but I'm not!" I practically screamed.
Aria turned around with a dissapointed look on her face.
"Come on, Han! You have no idea what I was planning on us doing yet!"
"Well what are we doing?" Ali asked.
Aria smiled, "Ghosthunting."
With that a shot down the stairs.
The other girls started chasing after me and 5 minutes later, after chasing me around the lakehouse, Aria caught me. I frowned and followed them back upstairs.
We all walked down the upstairs hallway and stared at the attic door.
"You expect me to go ghosthunting down there. OK, reality check!" I said, almost freaking out over the thought of being attacked and killed by whatever creatures lurked in the attic.
"Yeah. Last time me and Spencer came to the lakehouse we found a couple of ghost detectors that apparently record ghosts too." Aria said, already opening the door.
"So don't we need snacks and stuff like that? I could go get some." Alison asked. She was obviously just looking for an excuse for us to all be the first ones to go up in to the attic.
"Yeah, sure! The attic's pretty big, though. You'll find us in the top left corner, kay?" Aria asked, facing Ali.
"Mkay!" She replied, already running downstairs.
We all went upstairs and I hesitated at first until Emily pulled me up. Aria found the 2 ghost machine thingys and we made our way to go and sit in the top left corner, where Aria told Ali we would be. About 5 or 10 minutes later, we heard something. We all gasped at the same time and Aria quickly pressed a button on the ghost detector.
"It doesn't say there's a ghost near by." Aria said, pressing the button over and over again. There was a louder noise which meant a louder gasp but it was only from me. I was sat infront of all the other girls and I saw them looking up at something. I was too scared to turn around and then all of a sudden, there was a big plonk next to me and I screamed louder than a squeaky teenage girl when she sees a spider in her bathtub. I turned to look what it was and, of course, it was Ali with the snacks.
"OMG! You scared me." I said with my left hand on my heart and my right hand picking up a handful of peanuts.
"Did I really?" She asked sarcastically.
The other girls laughed and we carried on with the ghost detecting. It was stupid anyways. There was no such thing as ghosts...or was there. We all sat in silence until the machine started going crazy. Then...we pretty much panicked.
"Th-There's supp-posed to be a g-ghost n-next to Hanna." Aria stuttered.
That's when I froze. Eyes wide. Scared to death.
