Setting off for the weekend

Hey guys!

You have no idea how sorry I am for not updating in a really long time :( 

I've just been dealing with alot of things like being sick for ages, sorting out Christmas and stuff like that so I'll give you a quick update now and tomorrow I will try to write a chapter that's a bit longer and better.  It's currently 1:20AM and I have to be up at 9 so I'm sorry if this chapter is a bit crappy. Enjoy! 

P.s: Did you see the latest PLL episode? The couples were all extremely cute! I really hope they do a Christmas special again in season 6! Maybe they could do a different holiday for season 7! Who knows.

Aria's POV:

Me, Spencer, Alison and Hanna were all getting ready to spend the weekend at Spencer's lakehouse with Emily to take her mind off of Paige. Apparently Paige started dating that guy. God, she was so pathetic for choosing that lame dude over Emily (who has been super sweet to Paige whilst they were dating).Emily's living with her parents for now as Paige chose not to move out.

Ezra was going to take Cassedy over to his parents house for the weekend for his dad's birthday. 

I got out my favourite, pink suitcase that Ezra bought me for my birthday. I packed a few clothes and alot of beauty products. I put in some additional stuff like my toothpaste and toothbrush. I closed the suitcase and set it on the bed. 

"Aria? Do you want a slice of toast before you head off to Spencer's?" I heard Ezra shout up to me from in the kitchen. I walked over to the top of the stairs and replied, "Yeah please!" I turned around to find Cassedy stud up in her little bed across the landing. I make my way in to her bedroom and pick her up. "Let's see my little darling. Are you hungry?" I ask her as she bounces in my arms. I laugh as she crazily nods her head and I take her downstairs. 

I see a slice of toast on a plate on the dining room table and I look in the kitchen to see Ezra eating his, sitting on the counter. 

"You're toast is in the dining area." He says to me before taking a big bite out of his nutella spreaded toast. 

"I know, thanks!" I say, putting Cassedy in her chair.

I walk across the kitchen and get her food from out of the fridge. Her face lit up as she saw what she was having for breakfast. Both me and Ezra laughed and I put it on a plate for her as she patiently waited. 

"I'm gonna go brush my teeth." Ezra said, kissing me on the forehead. 

I kiss him on the cheek and get my toast from the dining room table and take it in to the kitchen. I take a bite out of it, grabbing my phone at the same time.

I send the text to Emily and finish my toast. 

Ezra's POV:

Aria left 10 minutes ago to meet up at Emily's so they could head to Spencer's lakehouse. I had already put Cassedy in the backseat of my car. I was taking her to my mom and dad's house to spend the weekend because it was my dad's birthday on Sunday. 

I got in the car and started driving. I looked in the mirror and saw Cassedy's big smiley face get even smilier everytime she pressed a button on her playboard. I chuckled and continued to drive until I arrived at my parents house. As I was walking up the pathway with Cassedy slowly walking by my side, as she was still learning, and the double bag in my right hand, I got out my phone to text Aria and ask if she was at the lakehouse yet. 

To: Aria <3

From: Ezra

You at the lakehouse yet? At my parents house. Time for a weekend of sitting on the sofa, watching friends, and listening to the beatles 5000 times a day LOL! xoxo

I pressed send and knocked on my parents' door. It felt like ages since I'd been there. My mom answered and when she saw Cassedy, she ammediately picked her up and started kissing and cuddling her. I walked inside and saw my dad sat in his rocking chair infront of the old grandfather clock. "Hey mom! Hey dad!" I said as I placed my suitcase in the corner of the living room, next to the TV. "Heyo Ezra!" My dad said, getting up and giving me a hug. I turned around and my mom greeted me the same way but in a more formal manner (like she always does). My dad gave Cassedy a pat on the head, "A big heyo to you, my beloved small person."

I had no idea why he called Cassedy that but whatever.

My text alert went off and I saw that Aria had texted me back.

Just setting off now. I feel sorry for you! You hate friends....and the beatles! xoxo

I laughed and put my phone in my pocket.
