"I have been off visiting the boy and I can not stand to let this go. He needs love, it doesn't matter who it is from." Minerva was almost pleading with the headmaster but the two Gryffindor personnel were stubborn. "Daddy, why don't I spend some time with him?" Albus knew something like this would happen and so he was prepared for this. "It is not safe for a girl to be wandering out at such a young age." Her face was determined and Albus knew that he would lose to one of the girls and in this situation he would prefer to lose to his daughter. "Alice, you may spend some time with him." Her face had lit up considerably and she was already hugging him before he had the chance to change his mind. "You may go now." Minerva took the girls hand and they left the grounds together. "You be careful and I will collect you from where I leave you. I expect to see you stood there the second that the sun sets." Pale features blurred as she nodded quickly.
Harry was sat in his usual shirt that didn't fit with his dirty oversized jeans, the wall beneath his bottom was painful but the thought of being in the house was more painful so he chose to sit outside. He was minding his own business when a loud *pop* sounded from his left. He could see the cloak of a woman but she just went, like she had used a teleportation method. Then stood a girl around his age, perhaps a little older looking directly at him. Her silver hair caught his attention for a few moments but he was pulled from the trance when she began walking in his direction. Her black dungaree dress complimented her pale complexion as well as the matching shoes. The white top beneath was long sleeved but he was amazed at how clean her white top still was considering how he couldn't even keep his clothes remotely clean. "Hello." Her voice wasn't like the Dursley family, mean and angry, but instead polite, gentle and a hint of care. "Harry Potter as I live and breath." His breath caught in his throat as she spoke his name and she laughed at the look he gave. "You look like a deer caught in the headlights. I think that is what you should say. What are headlights?" His face was hesitant but he explained. "A car has headlights to see at night. Who are you? How do you know my name?" She laughed and tugged at his arm to get him to stand. "I had Daisy make you this." A picnic basket was suddenly pulled from behind her and she handed it to him. "Th-thanks." The pair wandered until they happened upon a park. "I like it here. It is quiet but also cosy. Where I live it is either quiet or cosy. Neither can exist at the same time." His face still hadn't lost its confusion and she made him sit on the grass with her. "Alice Minerva Dumbledore. A pleasure to meet you." They shook hands and the pair began eating.
"This is really awkward I am sorry if I am not what you expected." She shook her head 'no' and finished her food "awkward is having the sex talk three times from your headmaster, your future teacher and the a woman who works in an infirmary. This is nice. I know you because of my father as he met you when you were a child, you will meet him soon I promise but I am not sure exactly when." Harry had let a laugh pass his lips at the comment about the sex talk and she smiled too. "What makes it more awkward was the wording of it all. I was little so they replaced the 'rude' words with other ones. Anyway, I know all about you and it is rude of me not to let you know about me. I must warn that Daddy told me that I cannot tell you everything yet." He nodded and began with a list of questions "how old are you? Who is your father? Who was that woman who just disappeared when you arrived? Who is Daisy? Where do you live?" She looked a little taken back by his sudden rush to ask a question or more and so took a deep breath before responding. "I am 11. My father is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore but everyone calls him either 'sir', 'Albus' or 'Dumbledore'. That woman was Minerva McGonagall, she is like a step in mother, not by marriage. Daisy is a woman or girl, I don't know, who I grew up playing with and she always cooks the best chicken pie. I live at Hogwarts. You will get to know about that when you turn 11." He took it in as he ate more food. He felt the hunger that he had endured his whole life fill as she showed him care, respect and attention whilst also feeding him. "What happens when I turn 11?" She thought about his words for so long that he was about to repeat himself but he stopped when she responded. "You will just know. That is Hagrid's job to let you know eventually. I cannot tell you more though." He went to push further but saw the look of determination and stopped. "Can you tell me anything about this 'Hogwarts'?" She shook her head 'no' as she finished of a sandwich. "I know that this is weird but I can make stuff happen. Do you know why I am so weird?" Her eyes shot to his and she felt ready to smack the Dursley family. "You are not weird. It will all make sense I promise and please don't get angry at me I promised my father and if I break promises he will get upset with me. No one likes that." He saw the truth of her words and decided that her words were enough for him.
