Father?

Alice had seen the summer pass with her father safely by her side. The pair were like it used to be, inseparable, they sat, ate and slept at the same time and only went their own ways to use the lavatory and their own bed. Alice had once again found herself sat in the staffroom as the year began. "Dad. No one will make you leave this year will they? Mr Malfoy can't do that, right? Hagrid will also be left alone again." Albus stroked the long silver hair from base to her back as he smiled. "Not this year. I promise." His daughter was sat on his knee as she rested her head on his chest. "Sirius..." she was caught short by him "will not hurt you." Alice nodded and watched the chatting staff. "Why do you let Mamma and Maw look after me so much?" Albus had known that she would ask but he decided that here was no reason to not tell her. "When you were younger we were never seen without the other. One time I had to go somewhere and you couldn't join me. When Minerva and a few others, you know who they are, offered to care for you I accepted, you were so furious with me that you were rude to everyone. When I was gone though you came to terms with the women and so I asked if they would watch over you more often as I was required to leave more frequently. You know that Poppy and Minerva always thought of you as a daughter. I know not to argue with women like them, Gryffindor for a reason. Not to mention the fact that no one gets between a mother and her baby." She had been searching the room around her and soon her eyes locked with piercing green ones and she smiled at the pair that she suspected had been watching her since she spoke of Sirius.

"Goodnight." Her pale legs were put to use as she walked and hugged all but one of the professors as a farewell. As she hugged her defence teacher he offered to walk her back. She took his arm gratefully as she felt a little on the chilled side. "What did dad have to do to get you to work here this year?" He laughed as he realised how little she really missed. "A friend." Alice stared at his face and despite the question he expected she asked "this friend. Is he dangerous?" He nodded in thought and she had an inkling "is he still your friend?" His brown mop shook viciously "Sirius?" His worried glance told her it all and she left the topic alone. "I am very grateful for you walking me back. I must warn you that the last man who did lost all his memories at the end of the year." Remus wasn't sure about how truthful her words were so looked sceptical. "He and I also slept in bed together in the same night." Remus didn't let this fool him and he laughed clearly showing his disbelief. "No, it is true. I had a bad time sleeping after the whole run in the year before so I would have to share a room or bed, depending on how bad it got, with my professors. He wiped his own memory though, accidentally." His soft voice muttered 'oh Lockhart' which made Alice burst into uncontrollable laughter. "Dad told you I suppose." He nodded and began laughing himself although it was subtle and controlled. "When did you become a werewolf?" His body froze up and he made the pair stop as they walked. "Your scar gave you away, also I have read all of the books that are relevant in this school. I haven't told anyone, nor will I." He thanked her and began talking of something completely different and she admitted that a topic change was needed. "I heard that you saved Harry." He nodded although he didn't think much of it. "What is your patronus?" Remus gave a 'really?' Look in her direction and she nodded mumbling "wolf right." She suddenly perked up and she smiled "I can do one." He didn't believe what he saw as she just waved her hand and sure enough a blue light shot out and a small creature that he swiftly recognised scampered away and into nothing. "Not a common patronus. It suits you perfectly though. Small, playful and mischievous." She laughed at his listing and could hear the surprise in his voice. "Well this is me. Thank you for walking me to my room but I have a boyfriend so no sleeping with my professor tonight. Maybe next time." Her voice was light and laughter could be heard in response but she had already entered through the portrait.

George sat with Fred as they wrote the plans to pranks down in a book that she had given them for their birthday. They had one each but chose to only use one at a time. "Hello Ali." She rested her head on the sofa between the pair. "Just managing some mischief?" They both responded at the same time in agreement. "I am off for a pee." Fred left with the laugh in his voice and the remaining pair knew why he was laughing. "Twins. Who would have them? Never mind go out with one." George had turned and faced her but decided to stand next to her instead as they could see each other better. "Only an idiot." She opened her mouth to protest but shut it again until she could reply "watch it you. Idiots can become single again." He didn't reply but placed a small kiss on her lips. She smiled coyly up at him and pressed her lips to his again. The pair had been unofficially but still practically dating for a year already as they would tease and flirt constantly so caution was thrown to the wind. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders and he wrapped his arms around her waist as they pulled closer to each other. His tongue began tracing her bottom lip so she opened to let him taste her mouth more. Their tongues fought one another and they kissed with even more passion. Her lips were still soft on his and a slight moan passed his lips as the two leaned into the kiss as much as they could. His hands had slipped lower and she was lifted to allow her legs to wrap around his waist. She regretted the revealing pyjamas as he left his hands on her bare thighs as he pushed her against a close wall. Her red tinted lip balm was obviously on his face but luckily wasn't sticky. His hands left her bare legs and found her bare waist. She cursed the crop top as well as his touch stirred something in her. They were stopped by a voice not far from them and George pulled away with a red face. Small legs made contact with the ground and she waved the pair goodnight and she fell asleep with the largest smile on her face.
