sorry?

Shrubs and long grass covered a small frame from the eyes of onlookers. Her structure shook violently as salt and water fell to the ground below. The cold air made the muscles to tense and her body to shake as the full moon rose above her bowed head. "Sorry Mamma." Was left to carry through the air as she let the night absorb her entire being. The self pity ended when deep and rough breathing sounded not far away from Alice. Her head shot up as she saw a man who seemed almost mouldy and crispy with his hair wild and eyes wide with fear. The large retreating figure confused her but stranger things had happened. Her mind whizzed when she realised that it wasn't him that had been breathing heavily. Her large blue eyes searched her surroundings until they came across a creature that crept with intent. Intent to hurt. "Remus!" Her shouts may as well be directed at her mother as his teeth plunged into her skin making her once pale centre become covered in blood and saliva. He began to violently shake her frail body until she stopped squirming but a quaint distant noise stopped him and made her body drop to the floor. Alice tried to move but her body didn't work properly. The crunch she heard when his teeth dug into her body was probably something important. A bone or more perhaps. After too many attempts she made it onto her stomach where she managed to drag herself forward. The long grass hindered her massively but the 15 and a half years that she had dwelt at the castle meant that it didn't matter. She knew where to go, when and how. Her arms ached but surviving took over her body and sure enough she kept going. When Alice finally made it to the doors of the castle her body screamed with each step. 'All of this over an argument over a pair of glasses' her voice screamed but nothing was vocal as every time she opened her mouth nothing could be produced. Even the steps inside the castle, all of the floors that she had to travel made them a lot, couldn't make a noise escape. She must have looked snail like as her trail of blood and tears followed her. In her mind she begged for someone to be out of bed. To wander where they shouldn't at a time that they shouldn't but of course that had to be the night that all the students chose to follow the rules. Every time she had escaped this year Argus had come along and found her and yet he hadn't even found the blood that she left. The stone was cold and unloving as she most likely infected the wounds with the dirt from beneath her. Eventually she got the the corridor where the infirmary was located but her vision was clouded and life began to freeze. The survival instinct had run out of horsepower and so she had to use all the will in the world. She began getting lazy in her drags as her hands stretched forward and smacked painfully onto the floor that she could hardly see, between the spots in her vision and the poorly lit hall everything became a guess. She wasn't able to arch her back nor was she able to move her legs so she had to rely on the muscles in her arms to overcome the friction and weight.

The door was just before her and joy rushed through the remaining blood as her hands tried to heave the door open. She must have been there for a hefty minute just smacking the door but no good came of it. Both arms pushed with any force that she had left and it was enough to wiggle a little way through and then she could drag herself through the rest. She just needed a wedge. The floor was colder than outside the door so shivers travelled through her and made her whole frame ache. She made it into the room but no one was in there and so she began making any noise possible. Her mouth was a useless cause and so her palms made contact with and pulled at anything possible. "What on earth is going on?" A highly annoyed voice asked absolutely disgusted with the rude awakening. Alice knew that she wasn't visible so carried on with the loud noises until the woman turned the corner. "NO!" Never before had Alice heard genuine panic in the woman's voice. Slim fingers covered the healers mouth as she saw the blood dripping down from the young girl as well as tears that had stained her face. If it were possible they may have never left. Makeup was rubbed and unflattering but still her even paler face than usual held beauty. A smile crawled up Alice's face as she saw the woman, before her head fell to the floor in a state of unconsciousness.
