Dear Jake,
Today I'm writing from one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to: Sri Lanka. For some reason this place, it makes me feel like there are so many reasons to live that I didn't even know existed. We came here on a tour and one of my favorite parts is without question the people, even though there isn't anyone that's my age I've made two friends that are a couple years older than me which is pretty unusual for me considering that my social skills are non-existent. Luke and Grace are both one of the nicest people I've ever met even though there hasn't been many and they both gave me a couple reasons to live which I decided to write down just in case I forget, first of all Luke has the most amazing music taste in the world and we listen to pretty much all the same bands and he's even introduced me to a couple new ones and I realize that this is a silly reason not to die but he promised me we'd go to concerts together and even though there aren't any upcoming ones I'm still somewhat excited about having a 'concert buddy' as one may call it, which I find extremely cheesy by the way but still. We also said the three of us would go to this new amusement park together since none of us have been there yet and even though I really doubt the chances of this actually happening I'm being forced to have a bit more optimistic outlook on life but knowing me I'll still probably get the urge to jump off something high every chance I get..
