Remember that you bleed
Remember who you are
You're made of dirt and clay
From dust you came,
And to it you'll return one day.
You have goals and aspirations
That you strive towards
That you fight for
But you also have hopes,
You have dreams,
You have wishes.
Sometimes your goals will be more plausible,
But the latter might be more important.
You try your best to win the race,
But in the end,
You're not judged by how fast you ran,
But by how many foot prints you left behind.
How many lives you touched.
If you want to make a difference in the world
You'll have to remember who you are
Some days you'll bleed,
But at night you will always dream.
