Sometimes you need to look back at something
To see what it truly means
Sometimes you need to look back at something

Sometimes you need to hear the question
To know the answer
Sometimes you need to listen to the questioner
So you can know what he wants to hear
Sometimes you need to open your eyes
And perceive instead of dream
Sometimes you need to close them,
Understand your dreams,
So you know how to turn the world into them.
Sometimes you need to speak
To be heard
Sometimes you need to scream
Every single word.
The world isn't going to listen to you
So you might as well give up.
Just remember that sometimes
What you have Given
Will inspire people to hold you up.
