Autumn Mist
❇
As we knock on the door, a beautiful young woman opened it and gave us a warm smile. Fake, it's too obvious.
"You must be the new students, I'm Ivy Smith. Welcome, come in, please." She greets and leads us in.
When we stepped in, Winter's gaze was on the floor and I started to introduce myself.
"Hello, Everyone. I'm Autumn Mist. A 17 year old and from Canada. Let's have a wonderful time, boys." I bluntly said and gave a wink to the guys at the back, especially the guy I recognised as our target.
The guys whistled while the girls started whispering and I had to keep my eyes in check in case I rolled my eyes.
"The name's Winter Blackburn. 17, from Canada." Winter mumbled but it was loud enough to be heard.
"Hey Miss, don't be shy."
"Yeah, we won't judge."
The guys taunted but Winter remained her gaze on the floor. I sighed and nudged her on the hips. She shifted her glare at me and I gestured her to look up already as she rolled her eyes.
She raised her head and everyone's gasps were heard. Why not? Winter looks like a snow goddess so it isn't surprising to have everyone gaze up at her. I smiled sweetly to our classmates but it was instantly replaced by a frown when I looked over Winter.
She looked like she saw a ghost (in my perspective) since she wears her natural pokerface but her eyes showed a different meaning. Fear? Shock? I don't know since this is the first time I've seen her like this.
"Okay thank you, ladies. You can sit on the vacant chairs by the back before we can start the class." Miss Smith softly told us as we made our way to the back.
Winter was hesitating to sit and so I forced her in her chair and sat next to her. She was trembling and the guy sitting opposite to her leaned in.
Winter started clenching her fists and I placed a hand over her shoulder to calm her.
"Hey, long time no see..." I heard the guy's whisper so I frowned at his greeting.
Do they know each other?
"... My dearest sister."
I can feel the time stop. This guy... I'm not sure if he's speaking the truth but I can tell that his identity has a big effect on her. He's someone from her dark past and I know it's way beyond my limits to meddle in Winter's business.
"You've grown a lot, for a kick out." He continues to whisper while Smith is talking in front of the room.
"You still look pale all right. Despite being a disgrace to the family. No wonder you repeated highschool." He continues to taunt her.
Winter's hand was trembling so I closed my eyes. I'm going to regret this. I reached for her cold hands and placed them in mine.
"Calm the fuck down, leader. You shouldn't be intimidated by a low class kid." I whispered against her ear and I can feel the guy's glare against me.
"You're a boss right? Show him who you really are, Alpha." I whispered again and it helped Winter's breathing to get back to normal.
She closed her eyes, inhaled and when she opened them, I trembled in fear. She stared straight against the guy's and I can feel him shiver against her gaze.
"Get the fuck off my face, douche." She threats and I swear I almost squealed.
I can't believe Winter can look so hot in that fierce glare with her harsh words. The guy frustratingly looked up front and ignored her while I stopped myself from cheering her.
