Winter Blackburn

"Get out."

I've been wanting to do that since I came in this institution but...

I didn't... I bend my head low in the ground and I had the urge to bang myself on the wall as I pull things bit by bit.

Travil... Oh Travil... You are weak to be overcome by sadness because of the past.

I start to laugh. I mean literally laugh.

"You... Travil Swift... Are nothing but a coward." I managed to say as I spat blood on the floor.

I slowly pulled myself up, my muscles hurt but it was nothing... Damn nothing compared to what I've been through.

"You think, that being like this, trying to solve the mystery for those two can help you? They're dead."

I stood on my feet as I looked at him sharply while he looks at me, clearly puzzled to see me on my feet after the beating he gave but he still glared at me.

"They may be... But they're still alive." He said.

"In what? In your heart?" I scoff.

"Death comes and go, Travil. Every one has their reason and their time to die so just live with it. You can't bring them back by solving their cases."

He was now looking at me in pure hatred.

"You don't know anything about me." He says in a firm voice.

"You're Travil Jade Swift. First son and heir to Swiftfire Enterprise. I know your father worked with Lancer Enterprises and how close you were to the daughter. I can't believe after years of her absence you're still trying to solve this shit of a crime." I blurt out as he clenched his fists.

"I'm warning you, Blackburn."

"She's dead, Swift. You can't change that. Even if you try there is no way to solve this when the person is already dead."

He slammed his hands on the table.

"Even Sophia, your fucking wife is not not coming back."

"Don't you dare say things about my wife." He ordered, storming towards me.

"Or what? The least you can do for the dead is mourn then be left alone to survive. People die alone, Travil. No one can last forever and they will take their death themselves without someone to help them. And for those who are alive, they get to be abandoned for survival then die in the end."

Travil's hand comes into view. He's fast all right. He's going to strike me with the speed of a lightning and the strength of a thousand rocks but... Does he think he can conquer me?

He's fast...

I caught his fist with one hand.

But not fast enough.

He looked surprised and his body tensed when I tightened my grip on his fist that it was shaking in sight.

"Did you really think I'm weak? Travil?" I say as my fist made contact to his jaw.

In my calculations, that was about 80 percent of my strength, depends on my anger.

He stumbled back, clearly not expecting how fast I was and the impact made him cut his lip as blood dripped down his chin.

"Your feelings of the past is what's making you weak. Learn to accept the truth and realize how stupid you are." I sermon.

Damn, I sound like Spring right now with the mixture of Autumn.
