Winter Blackburn

"Let. Me. Out!" I say when I stood in front of the one and only guy who locked me in his room.

"No." His expression remained stony.

"Tch. Stubborn ass." I mumbled, too bad he heard.

His jaw twitched and his hand gripped my wrist.

"Call me that one more time I'll show you how an ass I really am." He threatened, but I raised my head up to meet his gaze.

"You already did."

There was a moment of silence.

"Get back to bed, Winter."

"I am leaving this room. Right now, Travil."

I only received a shake of his head.

"You asked for it." My eyes widened when he hoists me up in bridal style.

"Put me down, asshole!" I shout and he shrugged.

"Okay."

I feel myself tossed in the air for a moment before landing on the bed cushions with my butt.

"What the--" I cut myself off when I found him wearing an amused grin.

"I told you not to call me an ass."

"Well, you are one. Look in the mirror and find out yourself." I grumbled, almost gnarling.

"Easy with that mouth, girl. You don't want to anger a dragon."

I looked at him in disbelief.

"Shut up. I'm getting out of here."

But before I could move, Travil was fast enough to pin me down with his body hovering over me.

"You are not leaving this room until I say so." He demands, his jaw clenched.

"Make me." I challenged.

When he didn't answer, I brought my knee up to hit his stomach but he wouldn't budge. I struggled under his hold because I'm confident enough to shake him off but no. It's like my strength is failing me.

"Your body isn't back to normal and you'll only exhaust yourself when you're out of my sight." He muttered and then I heard a click.

I froze in shock when I felt a cold metal wrapped over my wrist before Travil sat up on the bed. I glanced at a strange bracelet connected by chains and I glared at the ass beside me.

"You're locking me on chains now?"

He shrugs.

"I know you can get out of the recent chains I put you in but this one won't leave your body even if you cut your arm off or any part of your body."

I groaned and rolled my eyes.

Great. A complete prisoner.

My eyes followed the chains connected on the bracelet and realised that Travil wears the same bracelet with my chains attached to it.

"I assume you won't let me go without you around." I speak, a bit like a speech.

"Yes."

Not just a prisoner. I look like a pet for the great and mighty Travil Swift.

"Sleep." He ordered and I rolled my eyes.

"I won't."

He clicked his tongue and pushed my uninjured shoulder back on the covers and my head against the pillows.
