I finished packing my bags. Yep. College. My mind was clouded with endless possibilities. Will my room mate like me? Are my classes going to be fun? Boys? No boys. Focus on work only. That's what college is. Work. Not boys. Party? Some. I was interrupted by my dad yelling. "Hurry up, Codi! I have the car packed!" I grabbed my bag and took one last look at my room. I nodded and ran down the stairs.

"I put some money in your car. Just incase you need it." My mom smiled, brushing off my shoulder. My parents have done this before.  2 years ago when my brother left for UCLA. I was going to Penn State. My parents were so pround when I got the letter in the mail. "I'm going to miss you so, so much." My dad sighed, pulling into a hug. My mom joined. "Be save. Work hard. And make some friends." My mom said, pulling away from the hug. "I love you guys."

3 hours later, I was pulling into campus. I could feel the excitment rise in my body. A new chapter awaits.

Pushing through people, I made it to the front desk. I checked in and was handed a key. "Your roommate has already checked in. Classes start Monday." Today was Tuesday. This gave me time to make friends. I took the elevator with an attractive student that helped my with my things. I unlocked the door. This is it. I opened the door and found my roommate. She had short blonde hair with a hint of black. She was hanging up a band poster. There was also a boy on her bed. He had lilac colored hair. I thanked the student, he got the hint that I wanted him to leave.

"Hi!" I broke the silence. She looked over and smiled. "You must be Codi! I'm Alex!" She said getting off the bed. She held out her hand for me to shake. I shook it. A bit awkward. The lilac boy pushed Alex out of the way. "And I'm Michael." He winked. I gave him a smile. "Shut up." Alex slapped him in the arm. "Are you two dating?" I asked. They looked at each other and laughed. "No! We're twins. I'm the older one." Alex whispered. "ONLY BY TEN MINUTES!" Michael yelled. "Whatever. Come back over and help me finish putting my bed together," Alex demanded, walking back over to her side of the room. "And if Codi needs help, you can ditch me and help her." "Gladly." Michael smirked.

College is going to be interesting.
